I have a 2006 corolla just like this one (only white) with 306,000 miles on it. Just so everyone knows if you are lucky enough to have one last that long, the odometer stops at 299,999. I use "Trip A" to keep track of how many miles over 300,000 it is, and I take pictures of the Trip A reading with my phone periodically just in case I accidentally clear Trip A. These corollas, if you change the oil in them on time, will last FOREVER!!

My 07 has 278k and the oil still looks new 3k after it's changed. Transmission too, changed the fluid every 30k. It started dying then not restarting until it cooled off with codes PO606 PCM processor fault and PO121 pedal position ckt A fault. Changed the throttle body with a new OEM part and fixed it for about 8 months, then it died with the same codes again. Changed the gas pedal with a new OEM which fixed the problem again for about 3 weeks. Now the codes are back again and it's dying again. Anyone have any ideas? How many PCM's do these have and where are they located? Any ideas about wiring issues on these?

I was hoping you would explain what the part that is connected down front that hooks on to the valve cover. This part looks like 4 large black hoses joined together.

For this year, make and model...does anyone know where the IAC (Idle Air Control Valve) is located? Most of these KZitem videos show it attached to throttle body. Well, I took my throttle body out and do not see it.

Hello Todd, what do you call the engine part that on the lower side of the water pump? I mean the one on top is the alternator, under the alternator is water pump and the one I want to know is the one under the water pump? It where the serpentine belt go also. The one that has a pulley also. The reason I ask because my 2009 toyota corolla making a growling sound when cold start. And I checked it using a large screw driver and put it on my ear and I can really hear the noise and vibration coming there. I hope you could help me. Thanks

All those are obvious and most can be identified by reading labels. PCV? EGR?

I was hoping to find out what the part is that's located in front of the battery, in the lower right hand corner....It isn't shown in my owner's manual, and I don't see it here.....I have a 2008 Corolla, and the reason I started wondering is that it looks like a filter of some sort, and it looks frayed on one side....hoping it's nothing to worry about?? but a little concerned.... 🙃

Thanks for watching, the 2001 Toyota Corolla is part of the 8th generation of Corollas so will be different than this unfortunately. The 2003-2008 is the 9th generation of Toyota Corollas.
