Wonderful stuff. Very lucky to capture those white-tailed eagles. They were extinct until 1980 before being reintroduced. Great footage, well done!

I've only ever been onto Lochnagar in the winter via climbs on the crags, but love the idea of longer winter treks around there like this one. Classic claggy views on the first summit there!

I have done this round 5 times but from Glen Doll as its easier for me to drive to from Brechin, been blown over trying to get to the top of Lochnagar, stood on the Loch in a Jan winter , also you should look up the story about the aeroplane that was found in the water after a Spring thaw, heading up to Doll tomorrow for a stretch of the legs, cheers and keep up the good content👍

How long did it take you to do the 5 and get back to the car James - Very keen to make Lochnagar one of my next munros but debating on whether or not to just do the other 4 too. It looked like fairly easy going between them, is it just the distance that is the only downside??

Well done again mate. Really enjoyed this video. Thank you again for sharing. One question, I noticed quite a lot of trees when you started, but at the top of the munros, none to speak of. Where do the trees stop? At a certain elevation?
@ScottishMunroJourney

Thanks mate 😁 not sure on that one, think it may be due to lack of water and higher winds after a certain height! Your right though, never see trees after around 500m 😂 Atb, James
