There are lots of awesome ways to finish the darce, and I think if you're going to invest any time with it, that you at least get good at a basic lock-on-bottom and lock-on-top method. For those of us that like lock-on-bottom (marce / Homer Simpson darce / sliding darce) finishes, here are a few of the reasons why. 2 reasons I forgot to mention are that the waking in like Homer Simpson along the floor makes the loop as small as possible without you having to manually do it, and the floor is also a great source of power to put pressure on the choke without using arm power. I will keep getting better at these videos, and I hope this helps! :)
EDIT: CORRECTION: When I say, “when he’s on top of me...” I meant to say “when he’s off to the side of me...” When you are performing this technique you DON’T want their weight directly on top of you, and you should be on your side/shoulder/hip, and never flat on your back. If you have it right, you should feel their trapped arm laying on top of your arm, and it should feel like they've dropped into a nice little groove.
