I was the test director at the National Hover Test Facility for this test. This KKV (Kinetic Kill Vehicle) was a development testbed for an anti satellite weapon. The roll maneuver near the end of the test was to test attitude control precision while multiple divert engines are firing since the torque is so much higher.

It helps explain how the UAP could move so erratically like no known aircraft could (i.e. rapid changes in direction), but our knowledge of physics today could never explain something being able to do that with no signs of propulsion or noise. That and the fighter pilots saying it accelerated at many times the speed of sound also makes it highly unlikely it was something we with our current technological capabilities can create. And regardless, Lockheed and any Western company would be obliged to explain it if the US military found it and publicly announced it does not know what it is. The only chance what they saw was a man-made object is if it's some top-secret project from China or Russia.

i see alot of comments about its chemical fuel... but what most people dont know. is when you intercept an ICBM. its from the atmosphere. and this thing getting there rides a missile. a single kill vehicle that works somewhat like this already exists on the Standard Missile 3 or SM-3 system. MKV was made to store a bunch of these together with better maneuverability for kinetic impact of the warhead rather than near close range detonation like the SKV does. traveling at mk.20 through the atmosphere. and using very thrusts changes to intercept and slam itself into a warhead. wile other units do the same from being fired from a missile then stage separated once in intercept range.

@MultIPwnage. It's called pulse width modulation. You are correct. I work in aerospace. It is also used to dim LED lights. If you take a LED flashlight that has a dimmer built into it and wave it it will flicker if it uses PWM. Same concept as the LED is given the same voltage and current but for a shorter time and duration.
