Gluten Free Lo Mein Cooked on A 30,000 BTU Stove Top
I come from a classic Italian cooking background. Recently I went on a gluten free diet, not due to celiac disease but from 15 years of suffering from bloating. I also developed a rare autoimmune disease on my lower calf and ankles which affects my skin (peeling & blistering). Refusing to take high doses of prednisone to bring my blistering under control, i decided to try and find a more natural solution. One of these was going on gluten free, no sugar added free, pasture raised, wild caught and grass fed food products. I am not a big meat eater (twice month), so grass fed is not that important to me. I am happy to say I am off Prednisone due to my blistering being under control. I no longer suffer from bloated stomach and my energy levels have increased dramatically. I literally feel like I did when I was 30 years old! I say this because although I am strict with gluten free I am not celiac. I do not have to be as strict. People with celiac should not follow this recipe in case one of the products I used has any kind of cross contamination.
