At the end of the day the logs need to get peeled. How that happens isn't particularly important to me as long as I put in as little effort as possible for that to happen. If only the bark would fall off the logs I'd be laughing. Since that isn't likely to happen for some time, I'm doing what I do and peeling the log with a log peeling disk attached to a 9" angle grinder and comparing it with a traditional draw knife. I do enjoy the traditional side of log peeling but I don't enjoy the back pain.
