There's a few mountain bike crank arms that are squared, with enough thickness/width to use as a platform, so if there's not already a bmx brand that make them like that, it probably won't be long.

@@shamimmiah9720 Agree about getting a talk about that infamous original Flair. As for the flair style.. I remember seeing in the early 00's interviews from Kevin Robinson etc Jamie Bestwick (woodward crew?) about how they discovered that you can do flairs in a carving ramp style aswell. Main reason being that it was more pleasant safety wise due to being able to pretty much the whole time seeing where the ramp/landing's at, compared to coming in blindly. However, even after carving style flair being discovered, Mirra kept doing them the Hoffman style upside down except also while traversing huge distance of the quarter.
@shamimmiah9720
5 жыл бұрын
@@ssbj144 Went back and watched some Mirra and damn you are right. Although Mirra didn't go as high as Hoffman did he did do the flairs riding straight off the lip (90degrees to the coping) and he could do them oppo aswell! There is something very special about Hoffman's though, not only was it way back in 1990 but it was on a super narrow vert ramp in the UK. About a quarter of the width of an X games vert ramp.

@benjaminburton45042

Rwilly is not really a park rider. I'd pick Brandon Loupos and Boyd Hilder before any of your picks. I have a ton of respect for Logan, but he really only does 4 tricks... barspins, tailwhips, spins, and flips. I mean, yeah, he throws insane combinations but there are sooooo many more tricks. He is someone that pushes himself very hard. I think he needs to push into some variety. Did Dave Mirra limit himself to 4 tricks? Did Scotty? I think a lack of variety is the only thing keeping Logan from being god level like Dave and Scotty.
