Summary:
This video explains how to access your VNS3 Controller in Azure. Once you have launched your new VNS3 Controller VM, ensure TCP port 8000 is open to 0.0.0.0/0 in the Azure Security Group associated with the VNS3 VM. You can restrict this rule to a specific /32 IP if you are coming from a Static Public IP. Access the VNS3 instance via the Public IP on port 8000(i.e. Public_IP:8000). The Default password is derived from VM name and private ip: azure VM_name-azure private ip". For example, if the Azure VM name is “my-vns3” and the private VNET IP is “10.0.0.9”, the password is “my-vns3-10.0.0.9”. After the initial login, we recommend changing this password.
NOTE:
Make sure your VNS3 VM is in a VNET with internet access. You can ensure this by checking your Azure Route Table; there needs to be a route to 0.0.0.0/0 pointing at an Internet Gateway (IGW).
