Logic is a full on DAW, the MPC and Koala are not. I expect Logic to process it better, but to be honest if you making hip hop or Neo Soul and just grabbing vocals for a remix the beat you make will more than likely mask the vocals. Thanks for the comparison

Definitely! Though with MPC I think as of now it’s currently only available when connected to the desktop app or something, not standalone. Whatever stem splitter you use will definitely get the job done. I use koala’s a ton, it’s just interesting to compare and see the quality differences/how all this is improving. Imagine in a few years… maybe they’ll even separate into more nuanced tracks!

This video was great. Do any of the new ipads have this feature? Super appreciate your content. I have a pretty janky workflow on Koala. I have lots of fun and you produce such beautiful results, so quickly. ❤️

Cheers! Any m chip iPad can do it in the new Logic for iPad… the catch is it’s only available as a monthly subscription, no single purchase like the desktop version. Which is why I haven’t tried it yet lol What’s your workflow on Koala?

Man I always forget about Rip X, that thing is CRAZY! I just found the ui pretty complex (maybe it’s changed, I used it a few years ago) whereas these kinds of stem splitters are straightforward. Kinda two different use cases for me.
