The Loop Library is what we might refer to as a ‘marmite’ resource (apologies to overseas viewers!). What this means is that some people love it and some people hate it. And that’s understandable; some of us recoil at the idea of using sounds available to all Logic users, whereas others will see those resources as a jump-start for their own creativity. But maybe we’re thinking about the Loop Library all wrong; what if we view it as a database for the patterns, sequences and sounds we use and want to ‘catalogue’, to ensure they’re available to all of our projects. In this episode, we’ll see how to create content in exactly that way.
