Black was sold out. So I opted for the gray. I have a red Samsung Galaxy Chromebook so color was not a problem for me. I've had my Casa for about 5 months and it is perfect for someone who works remotely. I really noticed the comfort difference by not having to look down for hours. The touchpad is better than my laptop's. Setup is great at Starbucks, the library and even the park. I also love that Logitech made this product purposely compatible with Chromebooks. You don't see that often. And being a first-time buyer on the Logitech site, I was able to get 20% off.

Your product reviews are some of the best I’ve found! I’m an online university student who also works remotely, and I ordered this pop-up desk along with the M550 mouse today. I have an ASUS Zenbook flip and most often use it in tablet mode, so this portable setup is perfect for me. ❤

I was a digital nomad for a while. I looked for products that offered portable ergnonomics, and this would really catch my attention back then. I resorted to a much heavier and clumsy combo of keyboard, mouse and laptop stand. Don't think I would buy it though, the compromise of having to store everything a bit loosely in my bag seems smaller than having to live with a cheap feeling keyboard. If I were to live as nomad again in the future, I think I'd go for something like Asus' Zenbook Duo, it just outclasses anything else for my needs.

Thank you for the detailed review, especially regarding the touchpad part. Most others just provide a short video that looks like a book -wow!

Great video! I would 100% use it on the go for work, while jumping around from conference room to conference room and to the little desk in my hotel room on a business trip. However: the color way is a bit odd. I’m very much in love with the color block designs and would buy the pink if I were a student, but to bring the blue or the green stand to a client site while my boss is presenting is a little awkward… 😂

Perfect review video!! I’ve been contemplating ordering this product from overseas. This review video includes everything I was curious about. This product seems to be a prototype from Logitech. Thanks to you, I was able to save $250. :)

I would buy that trackpad alone for sure. Great review I like how you broke down the different components. I wonder if something like this would work for tablets with the ability to fit the tablet inside the box.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed. There’s no extra room inside right now but having a tablet inside is an interesting idea for an updated version in the future. On this version, if it were a smaller tablet, you might be able to tuck it under the rubber band on the front to keep them together but that’s the best I can think of. Appreciate your comment!

Actually, there are Windows precision privers for the Magic Trackpad 2, I'm using them right now. (They're separate from the Extramagic paid drivers, and especially the scrolling is smoother with the precision drivers. Now, it would be amazing if someone could design a 3d-printable Casa clone that fits the 2nd/3rd gen Magic Trackpad and common TKL boards like the Keychron K3 pro/max, Nuphy Air, MX Mechanical, HHKB, or Wooting 60/80.

I'm honestly considering buying this just for the trackpad. I've been looking for portable keyboard + trackpad option that can work across multiple devices and isn't attached to the device like a folio case. There's plenty of low profile wireless keyboards out there so that's an easy one, but I have yet to come across a quality wireless standalone trackpad (that isn't the magic trackpad). Hopefully they start selling these trackpads individually soon.

100%. I'm not sure why it's so hard to find good individual trackpads.

that trackpad in an insta buy as a stand alone, i could care less for the cheap keyboard and the marginally functional laptop riser. if i can just get that track pad in white it would match my set up and i can watch my stuff laying down and using the trackpad comfortably.
