Three awesome things: First, Jordan is now well and truly becoming Superboy. Second, Sam was right about how important it was to train Jordan. Third, Sam is starting to realize just how much trouble Lois really gets into and how much he has his son-in-law to thank for the fact that she's still alive.

Now Jordan is starting to become just like Earth 167 Clark Kent. I mean when Earth 167 Clark Kent was Jordan's age, he had not mastered all the Kryponian powers at once and Earth 167 Clark Kent never learns to fly until season finale. The way Jordan saves Sarah's father, he used that jump the way how Earth 167 Clark Kent would do. The way how he superspeeds after rescuing someone is what Earth 167 Clark Kent would do which was how Earth 167 Clark Kent ends up being called The Blur. Even for Jordan's first love interest is also just like Earth 167 Clark Kent which is normally with The Lang women. Everything about Jordan is almost like a copy cat of Earth 167 Clark Kent.

@@micahfranklin4560 True. The dress code between Jordan and Earth 167 Clark may be different but the power style is similar. I am also aware about the 1 time Earth 167 Clark Kent wore a hoodie because at that one time fight, he wanted to make Lois think Oliver Queen and Green Arrow were completely different people. Earth 167 Clark don't wear a hoodie unless he actually have a reason to do it like for example, cover up for a partner.

I think that her look had more to do with the fact that she had no idea that Jordan had become this powerful and skilled. Remember, she didn't personally witness most of his recent badass acts (she even assumed that John Henry saved Kyle *and* Jordan from the fire). So to me it comes across as one proud grandpa, and one Lois Lane/Mom who has just come to the shocking realization that Jordan is now Superboy - seeing as how he pulled off a rescue worthy of Clark. Notice the change in her attitude later when Bizarro!Jon shows up at the farm. For a change, she lets Jordan approach him first, rather than demanding that he stay behind her.

@@buddylord3020 - She worries about Clark too. But until now her worries for each of them were different. Now it's Jonathan who is the odd man out in the family. I suspect that even Lois doesn't know how she'll handle it if/when he starts to develop powers as well. Or worse, she may have made the mental connection that Jon's use of XK wasn't just about football... Meanwhile, Sam now has an idea of just how much trouble Lois herself has gotten into over the years. In his mind, that probably means even more training for Jordan, since somebody has to keep Lois alive.

Clark will have to understand the situation. I mean he has been absent in rescuing people. He probably might be disappointed and at the same time understand that Jordan was forced to fill in his position. It just means Clark will at least forgive Jordan because unlike what Jonathan did, he didn't sell drugs nor took drugs and Jordan already had Kriptonian DNA. I mean Lois was angry at first but she realize that Jordan was using his powers to save people. Lois realized that it isn't right to force Jordan hide his powers just to purposely let others die. Clark will need to eventually understand that Jordan did not have a choice when it comes to life and death situations.
