A tour of my Sweet/Classic Lolita bedroom! Most items are thrifted or bought on the cheap. This is constantly changing as I find more things that fit my aesthetic.
A quick rundown of my main pieces:
-bookshelf: Ikea. Pretty much everything on the shelves is thrifted or from my parent's basement
-portable closet for Lolita clothes: Home Depot "Honey Can Do" portable closet with dust cover. This works well but won't hold heavier things like my coat. I'll do a closet tour once I get a few main pieces I'm waiting on from Japan!
-dresser: my great-grandmother's, family heirloom.
-nightstand: from my parent's garage, found in deplorable shape and fixed up with about $10 of materials from Home Depot.
-bed (not really pictured because I'm still working on that): from an online estate auction for $10, painted pink)
-coat rack: found abandoned in the back of our warehouse at work. Found in a sorry state and fixed up.
Any other questions please ask! I can find a lot of things at online auctions or estate sales, since the more "aesthetic" pieces can be found very cheaply as long as they don't have any collectible value. It has taken me about 5 months so far to set this all up and I still have some things to work on (mirror, hanging a shelf, more wall art, more rugs, etc.). As with all things Lolita, this will be a long process!
