I have no words to describe my reaction to the two singing lollipops. (Most nightmares are without narration after all...) Adorable rendition. I had no idea you were a basso profondo!

Thank you Michael. Yeah, they are a little bit creepy, but the song is so happy I figured it was OK.

Class accapella, reminds of of the old days before my time when barber quartets or small groups would sing accapella. Lollipop was a popular song here in Merry old England also. Got to No 6 in the charts first release and a cover by The Mudlarks got to number 2. Great bass vocals - you hit the low notes there for sure. Great harp and other instruments as ever. Your almost more productive than China. Also, I'd love to see you do a shorter version of Space Oddity by David Bowie - not least because it would be fun to see you floating in space. Not sure if your wardrobe extends to space clothes. I think a harp would actually fit very well into some of the more elaborate sweeping of notes from low to high at the start of this classic from Bowie. It was rushed out to coincide/capitalise with the Moon landing.

michaelstephen1984 thank you. Hadn't thought of this that way, but I have always loved the enthusiastic optimism of barbershop quartets (and the harmonies, of course). I've added Space oddity to the list of possibles -- not sure how well it would work on a lever harp, which is a diatonic instrument, because there are so many changes. But a lot of songs have seemed challenging in that way before and then surprised me, so it's on the "possibles" list now. Thanks!

@@DanVeaner Not forgetting the African American 'Doo Wop' groups. Many young men would sing on corners, and this was copied by Italian Americans and others. In England, communal singing in church, theatres and pubs alike. One of my best memories was of a small room in Liverpool pub in which a group of 20 or so men sang sea shanties. In fact, people would often break out into song walking from the local pub to their homes. Music was our entertainment - and one which we made ourselves. In this day and age I actually perk up when a passer by is whistling. I often begin to whistle hoping the next man I pass might whistle also. T he 'difficult' bit of Space Oddity is the spacecraft taking off, represented by a sweeping of notes from low to high. I'm sure you could come up with a idea Dan.
