It's funny, that you see the influence (I have travelled through NY,CT, MA,RI & CT) ; and I do appreciate that the architecture is different from let's say Florida or Texas.. but London is very distinct from New England! If you went to certain boroughs in London, or to other UK Towns/villages- where there are houses 600+ years old.. I think you would retract that observation. I also think that London has a feel that isnt 'samey' as you find in 'central' Europe. (Perspective from an Aussie)

I like how things adapt from their origins and become their own style! I think it's so cool how architecture plays a role in the timeline and history of different places as well! I haven't been to Australia yet but it's on my list! As another English-speaking country, (aside from language, lol) do you see much English influence in certain parts of Australian culture? Thanks for watching!

The 'old London Bridge' as you called it, that is now in Havasu, is in fact the 7th London Bridge.. LOL

Never seen a tip added onto a bill in the u.k tips are usually at the discretion of the customer . London is very old did you visit westminster Abbey is stunning and around 1.000 yrs old , Tower of london was built in 1078 .

Oh that's interesting! We saw a section that said gratuity, maybe that was just because we were in pretty touristy areas. Do you tend to tip much in London? If so, how much? Sadly we didn't do Westminster Abbey! We stopped by a lot of old buildings so sadly had to do some picking and choosing! I guess I'll just need to go back :) If you like old buildings, stay tuned and a very old cathedral in Germany! 👀👀

I think maybe she was referring to the 'service charge', rather than a tip. The service charge is discretionary, and you can ask for it to be removed. We do tip, but for good service, not because it's expected or because we're paying the server's salary. Often people won't tip if a service charge is already included.

Omg I love this question; why did I not think to expand on this! So a custard would be the best way to describe it. It's still technically a liquid but it's very very dense and thick. I can't put a picture in the comments, so I put a link at the bottom to a recipe, but essentially it's custard. But we have them in little plastic cups at every grocery store, they're a pretty common snack, especially for kids! www.thepioneerwoman.com/food-cooking/recipes/a85701/how-to-make-chocolate-pudding/
