Used to live here 30 yrs ago before moving to Australia. Seeing this place and steets and buildings i once knew........miss the old days. So sad that the memories are no longer with me. Been away too long. Thank you very much for making this and allowing me the chance to see what was once my home again.

You’ll be shocked to know that London, Ontario is now the fastest growing city in Canada. It has humongous skyscrapers proposed and approved. In fact, from Niagara Falls to Barrie, skyscrapers are breaking records. Never thought I’d see big city style skyscrapers in Barrie and Niagara Falls…Niagara Falls will get a stunning skyline in the coming years with towering hotels and condos and so will Barrie…thanks to the huge demand, influx of people from all over the world, and housing shortage, skyscraper boom has erupted across the country. Vancouver’s upcoming skyscrapers are so futuristic. Toronto has supertall skinny skyscrapers under construction with people calling it the next new york…to Ottawa and Halifax…growth has massively erupted…and within 10 years many cities will redefine their skylines….amazing scale of growth…Forgot to add Kitchener and Waterloo area that has competition going on for “who builds the tallest one”

Wow! I'm planning my vacation in canada right now and London is by far the city I'm most interested in. Really love the vibes here (as far as I saw) and it's quite funny how I realized some spots there from my own research of the city.

Where are the people? Or shops? It looks half dead! Beautiful roads and buildings but few people….is there nothing that brings people down to the city?

I lived and went to school in london from 2013-17 and it was a vibrant place. My in-laws still live there and say that everything's closed + no one ever goes downtown anymore because of massive drug problems. Apparently most remaining businesses have buzzers on their doors now, and you have to prove that you're coherent before being allowed inside :/

Nothing but homeless in the down town toilet/ core. Most stores closed because of the drug problem. Sanctuary cities are the worst

Drugs, Government housing and food handouts bring people to the core, that’s about it. It’s not the city it use to be.

Im here to study too and alot, i saw a man screaming at a restaurant and people who behaves unusual etc etc. In my place theres a homeless woman who flipped at me, some would sit in corners, some homeless just enjoy life feeding pigeons, etc etc. Its a mix of all, just be careful and i hope and always hope all of us would be in good hands. Its painful to see homeless people its hard to always pretend that it isnt happening

I was born and raised here but my family moved to Toronto in 1981 its a shame to look back at all the new construction that is taking place in place of the old victorian architechture that was the charm of Downtown London. I love old and new but the mix does not work here at all Farhi Destroyed the ambience of downtown London and drove old family owned businesses away or into bankruptcy
