Your kinda missing the point here. It's not always going to be a pretty and nice mural. If it wasn't for the old school New York evolving of illegal basic and often 'ugly' tags, the bombin of trains, the danger, the risk.....the excitement and quickly painted basic stuff.....there would be no polished off, detailed, pretty pieces or 'big pictures' as you put it. Graffiti in its realest truest form would have no soul and would be dead in many people's eyes. Something that's seen as 'ugly' or an 'eye sore' to some is a 'breath of fresh air' and 'beautiful' to others and shows us nowadays that despite modern security measures, cctv everywhere and an anti graffiti war that's been going on since the mid to late 80's in London.....nothing is impossible. A nice colourful piece or neat fat dub is wicked but even just seeing a lone TOX tag etched or written with acid on the front is still better than a boring, blank, completely untouched 100% graffiti free train imo and there's still always going to be a story to tell of how it got there in the first place. It goes far far beyond what's actually painted on the side of that train!
