I've had mine since 2019 and love it. It copped a hiding at Philip Island and not a mark on it. It is heavier because of the size, but the extra room is worth it when it's raining.

In more than 50 years of riding and camping, I have never had a bike fall on the left side, although if I am concerned about the side stand sinking, I place a pad or disk under the stand to give it a larger contact area, although I have seen bikes fall on the right hand side while on a side stand. I use a Kathmandu tent with a similar design to fit a motorcycle in there.

100% agree mate, I've never had a bike topple over either, but I've had one sink into the soft ground, which is why I always carry a small piece of plywood with me. Thanks for the info, the bike falling over could happen I guess but pretty unlikely, I always use a plastic kickstand plate/thingy on any surface I'll be on for a half day. Esp for overnight I put it on that. Also ALWAYS leave your bike in gear, a bike will slide on smooth concrete, hard gravel, bitumen in a matter of seconds with wind. Seen it happen, pretty scary. 😱 Good to be safety conscience for sure. Look forward to the follow up with the ADV tent 👍

Met a couple of blokes at the Catalunya Moto gp last year who both had this tent. Both agreed they'd not had any problems with function or quality. But 1:it is big and so does catch a lot of wind, 2:its not light, 3:it's pack size is pretty big 4:it's not exactly discreet and 5:its very expensive. They said it made a great "base" tent for a long weekend or for somewhere where you're not going to be worried about being asked to move on. But its not really a practical "one night stay" tent and certainly no good for a stealthy "wild" camp.

Hi, new sub here from Tassie ☺️. This was a great review, I'm looking at upgrading to this tent for my future Moto-camping adventures. As I've discovered, my current Denali Kakadu Hiker tent just isn't big enough or waterproof enough for touring 😅.
