Lone Wolf assault hand climber weighs 14.5 lbs and can be found on marketplace for a couple hundred. 3 lbs and a little better pack ability isn’t worth an extra $800. I really wanted this climber and knew it would be expensive but they missed the price point. I would’ve paid $800 at the most and even that’s pushing it.

The advanced technology is impressive with this climber..At $1000 i believe they've priced out the average hunter like myself..All I've ever used was lone wolf climbers and hang on's..theres not a tree stand thats worth $1000..

Since I paid over $400 for my current LW climber or closer to $500..And there's absolutely nothing wrong with it..I was expecting $700 or $750..I would need one in hand to determine if I felt in the 7's was fair..

No climbing stand on earth is worth $1000.00. i can be latched to a tree and gear tied in less than 3 minutes with my summit climber. And it's dead quiet, light enough to carry Miles deep and so comfy i can sit daylight till dark. Never let me down. For around $300.00. i don't understand the reason a climber or lock on should cost that much. I guess the tv guys and young rich kids hype thing. I'll Pass.

I’ve got 2 of the LW Hand Climber Assault that I still use today. They’re great and still sell for $400+, so I think $1,000 for this stand is reasonable when compared to what you’re paying for a hang on & sticks. Looks like they knocked it out of the park with this. A new climber was much needed. I’ll most likely give it a season to see some real world reviews and place an order for next season.

Is this available right now? I like the bottom section, I'd use the original sit & climb top with it- with a mesh Hazemore net type seat. Price is high, but what high end precision product isn't expensive today? Given my original LW climber has been in use for 15 years with zero issues- blows away a saddle where climbers are an option, especially for bigger guys.

I climb with my saddle on and tether up tree and use my lone wolf base to climb and use as my platform once up. LW or someone should😮 design a climber base for this purpose that is smaller and incorporates side pressure resistance. I now add a ROS once up. ❤

I really dont't have an issue with the price considering my Old LW is almost 20 years old with ZERO issues... My issue is it looks like the seat was an after thought. I just wish someone would come out with a climbing platform for saddle hunting. You could eliminate the need for sticks and really lighten everything up. Not to mention decreasing the fiddle factor by a whole bunch. Im just really suprised that XOP or one of the saddle companies hasnt done this.
