Nice review. However, after listening to the tone of your voice I am now going through a deep depression. Perhaps I’ll go dig a hole in the woods, sit in it, and cry until morning. At least I know what headlamp to use when I go. Thanks.

Get rid of that irritating, annoying, unnecessary background music, it's nearly as bad as your depressing voice, unfortunately I gave it 60 seconds and had to look for other videos, you are doing yourself no favours with the background music

I own the hm65r and I believe that is Fenix best headlamp they’ve ever made. I wanna get the 3000 lumen headlamp but still can’t justify buying a 200+ headlamp

Hm60r is best for me and the only reason i didn't go for hm65r is it doesn't have red light other than that it is the best

I thought the 65R had wack lumen levels. HM70 and 71 are great. The HP30r you speak of comes to $175 with the 20% off you can always get

Good overview. But you forgot to mention "run-times". Kind of important. To know how long you can have a headlamp on MED constntly before it steps down to LOW. And something else companies should tell us is the "constant ON time/mode". e.g. HIGH mode--around 4-5 minutes before step-dwn....which eans if on HIGH you can onlystay in that mode using sub-4 min bursts. If in Turbo-....sub-2 min bursts. I'm guessing for most MED modes it's "sub-8 min bursts"??? What about these headlamps? some people might be on 1 hour 2 hour hikes or trail-runs. They need the lights ON constantly right?? Preferably at one lumens setting....

Hi can you help I bought the fenix hm65r and I put mine on spotlight mode 400 lumens states 22 hoursin that mode nope mine lasted 4 hours so recharged it and did test in house same result lasted 4 hours I'm not the only one to have this happen all fenix told them was buy a new battery not very good response so running times are false on this headtorch hope you reply and just out if curiosity do u do run time tests

That is too much of a difference to be a mistake.....it is false advertisement......imagine you go out in the woods and expect 22 hrs of run time......and the light dies in 4 hrs not 20....or 18.....or 10.....but 4......I would be a very unhappy consumer.....

@@adrianotero7963 I know but apparently they do say what happens in their website so why say in box 400 lumens for 22 hours it shouldn't state that at all
@petefishrigsandtips

Yes I know i said that to them and they said it's in the leaflet in box but still says it on box which it shouldnt

Next time you should mention some run times.....most people find that and lumen output important.....because it's usually a compromise between the two.....other than that a great review.....

Wwweooo the tone of your voice is definitely not built for this business. Is really hard to get motivated to hear the video that I had to make it short to 1 minute. And no demo of the headlamp which is desappointing.

The tone of your attitude is definitely not built for civilized society. If you consider the petty criticizing of a stranger's voice on KZitem as the best use of your time, that says way more about you than the guy in the video.
