Another nice watch from yesteryear... A stainless steel Longines Flagship ref 102 34, caliber 30 L. The 30L was a base movement. Not fancy, but reliable, capable of good accuracy, and easy to service.
Misc notes.
#1. Caliber 30L was in house
#2. When referring to what were the accuracy specs for this model out of the factory...when I say 5-7 secs I meant that perhaps a LOSS of this amount was acceptable.
#3. Among some of the parts that were returned to me...right below the generic crown is the winding stem. Other parts include the balance staff and misc parts associated with balance assembly. That bridge that was replaced holds the mainspring barrel and ratchet wheel.
#4. I meant to say "watch is not too small" not "not too big"
#4. If I did not mention it before in my other videos, I really like slower beat movements (ie 18000 vph). Personally I think service intervals can stretch a little longer than higher beat movements because there's less friction.
#5. One great thing about vintage watches is that many of the movements actually fit the case and vice versa (Don't need spacer ring). A lot of modern watches have cases that are a lot bigger than the movement.
