Today I cooked a traditional Iranian dish called Loobia Polo.
This is an Iranian dish of rice cooked with red meat and green beans.
I cooked this dish using the oil from sheep tail fat, which is both healthy and nutritious and makes this dish more delicious.
Iranians traditionally serve this dish with a special salad called Shirazi Salad.
I cooked this dish in a cast iron pot, which is known as Kazan in the north of Iran. Since cast iron pots spread heat uniformly, they allow you experience easier and more enjoyable cooking.
🔵Ingredients for 8 Servings:
500 gr Lamb Leg
500 gr Green Beans
2 Large Onions
5 Tablespoons of Tomato Paste
2 Glasses of Boiling Water
5 Cups of Rice
Salt, Pepper, Turmeric and Cinnamon as Needed
300 gr Sheep Tail Fat
