It is so important to talk about how you are feeling, in terms of mental health. Healing from burnout is a lengthy process but that doesn't mean that you can't learn more about yourself along the way.
In this video, I reflect on how thankful and grateful I truly am for certain aspects of my life; living in the UK, in London, my job, and the flat I live in. This is a mind shift I have adopted over the last few months due to needing to remind myself of the things I am thankful for. Being an introvert was something that I really struggled with for a very long time, but once I understood myself as an introvert - it suddenly became clear that this was ok and that I know who I am.
Loving every moment in life is important to me, and recently more than ever. Getting out into the great outdoors really helps me to make the most of my time and to reflect on the moments before. Life can really bring us down, and breaking out of my habits and neutralising the narrative inside gives me a fresh perspective on what seems to be troubling my mind.
Being outdoors in nature also makes me realise what is important to me in the moment, and gives me the all-important time to make sure that what I am doing is not for other people, but for me.
