Samosas are one my favorite snacks to enjoy anytime of the day . They are also a perfect party starter as they are an ideal finger food.
Am sharing my recipe on how I make my Beef and vegetables samosas packed with lots of flavors from the spices, crunch from the cabbage and crispness from frying .The secret to good samosa is in spicing and crispness.
3Ibs Ground beef ( I used 85% lean )
4Tbs water ( or 2Tbs Vegetable oil if using leaner ground beef)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbs Tomato paste
1 Tbs Worcestershire source
1 Lemon zested and juiced
1Tbs Garlic, chopped
1 Tbs Ginger, minced
1 Tbs Coriander powder
1Tsp Cumin powder
1 Tsp Chili powder
1 Tsp Garam masala powder
1Tsp Turmeric
1/2 Tbs Sugar ( optional)
1/2 Green Cabbage , very thinly sliced with a mandoline or knife
1/2 Bunch Cilantro , chopped,
2 Bunches scallions , chopped
10 - 12 Curry leaves ( chopped if too big) or use fresh bay leaves
2 Jalapeno or Green chilis
