This one makes me cry every time I hear it. Having grown up listening to the Statemen and Blackwoods, I can't help feeling the love exuded when these guys sing this one!

The perfect quartet, singing about the perfect place, where the Perfect King stays. Lord, Oh Lord, I want to go to heaven.

You don't hear a lot of songs written this straight forward anymore. People don't seem to want think about Heaven or Hell as a living reality.

I've been a fan since I first heard about them on the first Gaither video. Then saw a video Bill did about their career. Hovie & the Statesmen, without a doubt, set the standard by wich ALL othern gospel quartets should strive for.
