Smooth as fuck. What happened to hip-hop groups? Wu-Tang Clan, Pharcyde, Lords of the Underground, Tribe Called Quest, Jurassic 5, Gang Starr, Black Star, Dilated Peoples, People Under the Stairs, Souls of Mischief, Mobb Deep, etc. Now it seems like everyone's in it for themselves and driven by ego. The music felt so much better, fuller and smoother with multiple people contributing verses to a track. Now it's all about the hook and beat with paltry rhymes that don't flow. The only recent group I know of that I like is Clear Soul Forces. Anyone got any recommendations?

Yeah, rapping about splattered brains and crying mothers... peh. Those kind of lyrics are dead to me even before the ink on them dried. Wanted to love this because of the beat and the video, listened to the lyrics, no thanks, just more of the same old same old bragging about rapping without actually rapping about anything stuff.

***** Because I actually look at what is there, instead of spouting infantile, wishful thinking one-liners like "you've been faded"? You might as well say "yo momma". You're an idiot, and all you have is the opinions of other idiots to fall back on.

I got the lyrics, but do you understand German? And what does fame have to do with fuck all? But speaking of famous people, does, say, Assata Shakur have to rap first before you are able to ponder this: "Hip Hop can be a very powerful weapon to help expand young people’s political and social consciousness. But just as with any weapon, if you don’t know how to use it, if you don’t know where to point it, or what you’re using it for, you can end up shooting yourself in the foot or killing your sisters or brothers." ?
