This diet is the reason i’m no longer fat. I modify it to make it easier. I use 1 tbsp of peanut butter instead of two (really can’t tell the difference), and use the 100 calories i’ve saved to eat the whole grapefruit (more fiber = more filling) and use 2 tbsp half and half in my coffee because I can’t stand black coffee. You can use any seasoning as long as it’s zero calories, so mustard, hot sauce, spices etc. Instead of tuna I do salmon. Instead of eating the ice cream I do protein yogurt, more filling + less sugar.

Just smaller portions of my normal diet and cut all carbs in half. So let's say I'm eating steak, baked potatoes, bread rolls, and green beans. I would have just half a potato, and half a roll or no roll at all. @@PrettyReese313

I did this diet about 20 years ago and lost 65 pounds in 4 months. I was hungry the first 2 weeks but then I got into the routine and was fine. It gave me a different outlook on food. It basically taught me to eat to live not live to eat. If that makes sense. lol Great video!

you actually can use a little salt and pepper ! you can use any 0 calorie seasoning/ low calories seasonings (along with a bit of lemon juice if wanted) ! Cooked tunafish with a little bit of salt and pepper on toast is actually pretty good !

I forgot to update so after I lost the 20 pounds. Right before Thanksgiving, I saw my trainer on Tuesday this time. And she said that I lost 5 more pounds. Don't know what I did wrong, if i did anything. I didn't change anything besides the banana for butternut squash and walked after every meal. But but I did slack a little bit on the walking. Instead of walking every meal because of my busy day and my kids. I did not walk after every meal. I probably only walked either 1 time or 2 times. So I'm thinking that that's what changed was the exercise. That's the reason why I only lost 5 pounds. Because I'm not changing the food or anything. Oh wait, I did change something. I changed it for 1 day. I heard that if you changed the Vanilla Ice cream. For vanilla yogurt, it's more filling and it's less sugar. So I decided to do that for 1 day and that was the day I found out that I was allergic to vanilla yogurt. I was thinking and telling my husband that I've never had vanilla yogurt. My parents have never gave me vanilla yogurt. And I cannot remember a childhood that I had consumed vanilla yogurt. So I decided to do that. Change it out. Yeah, I am 40 years old. And now I know why my parents did not give me vanilla yogurt. They never told me I was allergic. It's just I never ate it. And I thought I was missing out on something. It tasted delicious but within a couple minutes after eating a 1/2 of a cup of vanilla yogurt. My mouth began to swell up my sides on my right side. I think it is begin to swell up. Then my bottom lip and then my top lip in my mouth. So my whole mouth was swollen. My lip was plumped and my husband was laughing his a** off. I went to bed with my mouth Swollen. woke up with it down but still Feeling a little bit swollen. But that is not gonna happen again. I had went back to Vanilla Ice cream 2 days ago. So yeah I'm still gonna try this diet. I'm still gonna keep going. I'm still gonna figure out why I lost 5 pounds and not 10. Maybe I have to stop it retrain my body again and start it again. I am getting less cravings and I'm getting full of the black coffee. But I'll keep going and let you guys know . Im 25 pounds down yay, me, I'm at 180 let's see if i can lose more.

😂😂 you ate unseasoned chicken ? It says on the sites that you can use only salt and pepper. They also recommend which oils to use for cooking. This is my go to diet and I swear by it. I love it

Sounds like you weighed yourself after 7 days? If so, you should have weighed yourself after the first 3 days; I use this military diet and actually enjoy its ingredients and allowable substitutions. I like to do it in conjunction with a cabbage soup diet detox every 4-6 months and it does wonders to keep my weight in check; I also go on the wagon and don't drink alcohol during my diet/detox. A person has to want to go through the self control required for various diet and weight control plans; once you develop the routine and understand the benefit, it becomes enjoyable, at least for those who want it. Key here, ya gotta want it. Thanx for sharing your experience.

You have to replace the eggs with protein, so I'd say no to the applesauce. Plain Greek yogurt (no sugar or honey), cottage cheese or cheddar cheese. As for the tuna, deli baked turkey is a good source of protein, and of course there's always chicken breast.

It's actually a great way to get rid off bad eating habits. I was binging and inhaling my food. I would eat an entire digestive biscuit on one go. I would eat 4 egg custards at once and chew them like 3 times. This behaviour stopped after the military diet.

It really is amazing what the human brain can do. Sometimes we have to psych ourselves out. The first good piece of advice I conveniently forget about in the midst of casual eating is "Don't overeat," but still I do just that at every meal and feel the regret only afterward. Yet I'm here on Day One of an extreme and absurd diet that I'm fully willing to commit to, knowing it will change those now-years-long bad habits in a matter of a day or two. Maybe it's just the absurd and extreme nature of the diet that makes me more willing to commit to eating so sparsely. It's a jumpstart into an entirely different mindset that I likely would never reach casually, and I'm willing to "play along."

If you use this to kick start a longer term healthy weight loss, tracking your calories once eating normally - you can absolutely keep the weight off. If you go back to eating crap of course you'll gain it all back, it's the same With any diet plan no matter how short term it is.

I had a restrictive diet with just crackers and vegetables for dinner So I had like 2 or 3 crackers for breakfast and lunch - with small porions of cherry tomatoes and/or cucumbers (or a cup of corn if I did not feel like eating crackers) You can put anything on there (eggs, cream cheese, whatever) Sometimes for lunch I had plain crackers with soup as a substitute for bread Then for dinner I usually just had steamed broccoli, carrots, (peas) and brown rice Or a salad Or soup with crackers again I lost like 7 kg in a little over a week, mind you though, that this was the first diet I ever followed and I had a lot of weight to start out with

If you lost 15.43 pounds that is 54,005 calories meaning you’d have to be on a deficit of 7,715 meaning say you ate 100 calories from your “meal” a day even if you say you were 5’8 and 300 pounds you would only be able to lose 2,435 calories naturally meaning 2,345 with the 100 calories which is the same as only losing 4 pounds of fat which if you ask me isn’t healthy nor isn’t worth it please anyone reading this don’t try this

@@DaimaTa yes, I don’t encourage it, emphasis on “had” past tense, I stopped a long time before commenting. There is a reason I stopped, and with the last part I meant to say it wasn’t worth it, it probably was like water weight too, I know it wasn’t fat, I didn’t even see a physical change. I also know it was unhealthy and I didn’t even feel good during the diet, physically (I felt nauseous and hungry, but I was told that I was just so fat that my body has to get used to this sudden change in calories) and mentally, but it wasn’t really a choice. I wanted a balanced and healthy diet to start my weight loss journey, but not everyone has the support, so this was what I was forced to eat daily. I was told “that is what a diet is!? What more do you want, you want to lose weight don’t you? Then start working for it, you can’t eat whatever you want anymore, this is what a diet is supposed to look like.” and got judged if I ate anything other than “too many” crackers, soup or vegetables. Also I gained back a lot of weight not long after anyways, going from 116 kg to like 106 kg eventually, right back to above the 110 mark back and forth, eventually being stuck at around 8 kg in a plateau. Rn I’m at 100 kg though and I actually not only notice a visible difference, but I don’t feel awful physically nor mentally either. All I did was cut out sugar, bread, junk food, eat more greens and fruits, drink more water, and I exercise. It started off “lightly” by simply trying to return from school to my home walking as often as I can (around 5 km). I do understand why you emphasized to not repeat it and I should’ve included it a bit more clearly in my post too, but I was too stuck on the mentality of an eating disorder to the point where I just thought it was normal (as I was told numerous times). I was told a diet is basically just crackers, soup and some vegetables all day (so even though I didn’t feel good I thought, being the “fat scum” I was told I am, I was just exaggerating and that this was normal) but at the same time I was told by my own mother straight to my face or behind my back to others constantly “No diet or amount of exercise is going to help her, what she needs is surgery” (my mother had surgery for weight loss herself so it felt like she was projecting something onto me) even though I am 16 and and she started telling me this at like 14-15, and aggressively saying (to my aunt who defended me saying I’m still too young for that nonsense and I can easily lose the weight naturally) “I don’t care, this can’t go on like this, she is almost 18 so we will finally be able to settle this once and for all”; she kept telling people I’m not even trying to lose weight, how I burden her by acting like this and that I didn’t lose weight at all, even during the restrictive diet, but instead only gained weight. So this probably also had a play in my binging. Even though I was starving myself but did actually lose weight (so I just felt like I hade no choice but to be skipping meals/reduce portions and sleep all day, since I ended up feeling so tired and weak). She never saw me stepping on the scale either, partly because I didn’t want to be judged while being that vulnerable with my weight and body out, knowing the snarky comments she’d make. I would say true weight loss starts in your head. If you don’t have the support or courage, you’ll yoyo back or fail or just don’t feel good and you should look more into balanced less one sided diets. And try to meet up with a supporting family member/ (group of) friend(s) to stay motivated.

This diet actually works for me,yes you may not lose 10 pounds but its better to lose 2 or more than none at all. I've tried it a month back an lose 6 pounds, and I'm on it again starting from morning and I know it would happen for me.yes it's not the best meal plan ,it comes with alot of headache but it's worth the try.

There's a bunch of substitutions that are allowed. For example, you could have subbed that 1/2 banana for some of the grapes you were wanting..as long as it's the same amount of calories.

(1) You can add no-calorie spices to the chicken (2) you could spray the toast with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter (5 cal.) (3) add 1 teaspoon of mayo mixed with 1 tbls. water to the tuna (25 cal.) and not alter the diet by much but make it much more normal.

If anyone sees this you can read how it went for a 14 year old who started this at 168 😊 For day 2 dinner only had a banana because it was late hope it’s didn’t mess up me tryna lose 10 pounds Day 3 had kfc bowl because I was in a rush and out but when I came home had banana Day 4 morning so far I lost 5 pounds. I couldn’t have cracker and cheese so I had whole-wheat and cheese

This is basically a high protein and fiber low fat and sugar diet... these crash diets work short term and are a great way too boost you into your new diet plan.. then you should have a balanced diet after that.

I just started this “diet” this morning, and it’s odd. I mean not in a bad way, but you know it’s weird. I guess it’s because I’m not used to following a specific/strict food/diet plan everyday for 3 days. But I guess it’s not that bad. I just sucks that I can’t eat snacks in between meals yk? And also some of the foods i don’t really eat like that. I don’t know. But I guess it’s not the end of the world 😅

With the milatary diet I saw there was more food and drink than what you ate. For lunch there was 2 hot dogs. No bread. And green tea in between meals for example. Oh and no grapefruit. Your video was entertaining 🤣

@@bluesoul1172 I stayed home within 4 months lockdown ☹️ I am a student still studying so when I get stressed over assessment I turned to a lot of Carb and snacks 😭 I am now 96kg now I water fast for almost a month now 1 month this Sunday but I am looking for something to break my water fasting diet this is why I came here😩 I fricken wanna loose this pounds before graduation I don’t wanna walk in front of people like a balloon 😂😂😂😂😂😂

@@dee27206 LMAO i love when ppl are this entitled when they don't know what they're talking about. go google what an actual measurement of a tablespoon is (spoiler alert! it's only 15ML :). ). it is just the tablespoon and scraped off whatever overflows. it's not just getting a huge blob onto a spoon. which is 100% what the person here did wrong.

that is more breakfast than I have. I do intermittent fasting a fuctional medicine doctor said that it was good for weight loss. I also use moringa and do yoga like chair yoga because I need to take some vitamin b12 and ginger slices for my sciatica pain. I lost 10lbs in less than a month. I also walk sometimes outside. Lots of water and I am currently on a parasite cleanse bc I am seeing if all humans that eat meat have parasites, and in my body that is true. I had a lot of them.

🫣 It may have been the crazy next level doughnuts and the alcohol 😁. I honestly didn't think you would have lost anything. I've used it and I would eat regularly at the beginning of the week and then Friday, Saturday and Sunday do the military diet ☺️. I have done it 2x, 175 and after 3 days 162 🤯 165 and after 3 days 155😮. The military diet I used included cantaloupe 🤔..

Great video. I think the diet reduces the calories over the three days. I am going to try it, although I ant get saltines so you can apparently reace with 3 or 4 plain rice cakes.

I already lost about 5 pounds so I was disappointed in that so I started working out twice a day once in the mornings after I drop off my kids. And then when I pick up my kids. We all go back to the gym. So today With the cup of tuna, I ate it yesterday night. Just the tuna. And I cannot have a banana. Because I'm allergic. So I substitute it for butternut squash cubes. And I drink my coffee yesterday night. And then I started to feel oh sickish. I brushed it off and went outside talk to the neighbors. But I was still feeling sickish. I went for 30 minute walk came back. I was just still feeling like I was going to throwsummer around maybe. 9 o'clock 10 at night. I could not shake the feeling of throwing up so I did. After I threw up the tuna, I felt a lot better. I felt relieved. The pain in my stomach was no longer there. No longer there. But when I woke up this morning alpha shaky. I had it, I didn't feel hungry but I still forced myself to eat, because I did not know what this family was. I felt my heart racing, I have no idea what I'm feeling I'm still feeling it instead of one piece of bread. I did 2 pieces of bread I cheated today. This is my 7th day. I'm going to call it my cheat day. And instead of 2 tbsp and just put it together like a sandwich and ate it. I was feeling shaky and weak. And I think it's because I threw up the tuna last night. And I have nothing in my system. So I decided to double up on 2 breads. I did have green tea. And I still feel like I was going to collapse so I did not know what to do I figure that I might need some sugar in my body so I took one tablespoon of honey Took my kids to school this morning. G****** feeling less shaky than I did before. I got my laundry ready. Put my laundry in a washing machine and came back inside. Did the dishes and lay down on the couch? I do have to see my personal trainer at 10 AM. I'm hoping that this feeling will go away. So I will be able to do the planks. I'm hoping that the second piece of bread also did not mess up my di'm praying that I did not miss up my diet If it did, I'll just cut all the calories in half I'll still be following the diet. Everything will be set to banana part. But I will not eat as much as it tells me to I would just eat half of it. I haven't weighed myself because I want my personal trainer to weigh me After she drills in my workout. I'll come back here and let you know good news or bad news.

why would u assume u can't season the chicken😭 use a non stick pan instead of oils and it'll be less than 10-20 calories

Its does work she eat a lot of food on her 4 days off that’s why it doesn’t work

this diet actually harder in lockdown cause a military diet along with small proportions of food you have activities and workouts etc along ith it to keep u busy and ur mid of hunger so cheers to you
