Widmore never hated Desmond. He knew Desmond destiny was to go on the island because Eloise (his ex wife) and him read Faraday book He was fucking scared that Desmond would bring Penny on the island so he tried to protect her

He probably knew that Desmond's destiny was to go on a boat race and end up on the Island, due to being rejected by Widmore and wanting to prove him wrong. I always figured Eloise got flashes like Desmond did.

If you think about it: £28000 (60 year scotch I saw online) per ml the cost of that would be : $28,000 / 1000 ml then * that by 10ml for a glass is $280 no? I think he makes more than that per month mate come on
