I heard that Jonathan Harris kept a notepad on his nightstand, and whenever he thought of a good alliterative insult (usually around bedtime) he would write it down for use later on the show.

I was watching a documentary on KZitem that featured Jonathan Harris talking about the robot and Harris said when he went to bed, he come up with the different insults to say. I believe it. 😂. One insult I remember is him calling the robot a kackling Cracker Barrel 😂🤣 I think that’s what he called the robot. Ya know, I didn’t like the dr smith in the 1998 movie Lost in Space. Hearing Jonathan Harris say “the pain, the pain” was more convincing than hearing that other actor say it.
