London Calling is such a classic album, Rudie Can't Fail is still my favorite on there. Thank you for this and all the other vids. Hope everyone out there is staying safe in the these trying times.

Brings me right back to Middle School! Loved London Calling record and their appearance on Fridays tv show cemented in my mind, coolest lookin band ever! Although Pagey's dragon suit can give them a run for the money!! He was also pretty cool!! Thanks JJ

I watched that episode of Fridays when it aired. I'd heard the Clash, but I'd never seen them, so my first thought was: Wait a minute, punk bands don't dress in suits like that!

I vividly recall the Rolling Stone magazine with The Clash on the cover declaring - they were the Greatest Rock n Roll Band in the World. Of course i thought that was sacrilege. But I did buy London Calling and thoroughly enjoyed it. No - they weren't the greatest - but were a damn fine band in 1979.

Nice tune, sounds like Mick Jones was really influenced by the "Some Girls" album at this time.
