Have always loved songs by David Gates & Bread and this has always been one of my favourites. Listening again to it now really pulls at my heart strings as I lost my dear wife of 24 years, Sue, to Young Onset Altzheimers last December and I love and miss her so much. I struggle day to day in the loss but she will always remain with me in my heart.

My sister was killed in 1971 in a motorcycle accident. It was tragic, and she was only 19. So many songs by BREAD were playing. I really often wonder how she would have looked, had she been alive today. Miss you my Sister.

+Andres Flores Thank you Andres. It's hard having lost nearly my whole family; one brother now. He was the youngest and died 2 yrs ago. I am the oldest of 4. I hated the way she died. and my dad committed Suicide in 75. He was only 51. But God keeps me going for A Reason. I can only trust HIM!!! God is good!!!!

I listen to Bread in the 70s and 80s this is a love song !2024 34 years ago in 1990 I lost my only son !it really brings back memories I feel loved❤

My late husband and l just got married when these songs were popular we both love music especially him he used to sing these songs for me with his guitar. We were both so in loved with each other. He got sick and passed away few years ago .

The best boy in my school said out loud in 1979 that this was his favorite band. Then he married a nice girl from school & had a great job with IBM right out of achool because he was smart too. But then he died at 49 of a heart attack just like his Dad. So let's all live for the great ones who have gone before us💛
