That lizard thing looks like a newt i think thats how you spell it, you had some MEGA finds, great video where we dig here in norfolk we often find adders living in our tip.

I live in Carlisle Cumbria & brought x3 stonewear inks £1.00 each and x1 large one with cider vinegar with a picture on £2.00 in one of my local charity shops

Some amazing discoveries there my friend! I’ve always wanted to go bottle digging…..really enjoyable! As for your two strange discoveries, the first was a lovely little newt….the second would have had bristles all around the twisted wire & was used as a household cleaning brush. A good watch! Some of your finds would make awesome display bottles for chemist shops. Your very good at what you do & bring those pots, jars bottles, amongst others back to life again. A pleasure to see them come out ground and cleaned up. 👌

Belter of a ginger jar that blue n white 1. Wish i had seen the belly of the wee newt to see if it was bright orange. Love those wee creatures. I new a guy that had a hut in Carbeth long gone now, but his wee figure of 8 moss pond is still there and its held newts for over 70 years and i can still find them there to this day. God he would be well over 100 yr old now
