・A pinch of salt ・a. Ginger (grated): 1 teaspoon ・a. Sake: 1/2 tablespoon ・a. 1/2 cup Sake: 1 and 1/2 tablespoons Mirin: 1 tablespoon Sugar: 2 teaspoons Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon and 1/2 tablespoons Salad oil: 2 teaspoons Baby leaf: 10g
■ How to make
1. Cut the lotus root into round slices 5-6mm thick. Soak it in water, put it in a colander, and wipe off the moisture with a paper towel.
2. Put minced meat, green onion, (a), and potato starch (1 tablespoon) in a bowl and mix well until sticky.
3. Sprinkle potato starch on the lotus root. Put two lotus roots in a pair and put the meatballs between them. (use 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of potato starch)
4. Pour salad oil into a frying pan and heat it up. Place the ingredients from Step 3 in a row and when they are browned, flip them over.
5. Wipe off excess oil, add sake, mirin, sugar, and soy sauce and bring to a boil. Garnish with baby leaf if desired.
