Really enjoyed listening to these two. Thank you very much for the upload, youve done a very good thing. UG Krishnamurti; words cannot describe such a remarkable person... Iconoclasm does ring. One could see UG having similarities with Bodhidharma. Regardless, there are good people out there. You just got to know where to really find them. Not to be fooled by certain so called gurus asking for your money so they can as, Alan Watts would say, "Pick your pocket to sell you your own watch". It all depends on what kind of help you really mean. Be very careful when you invest in peoples words. You could be lead astray for who knows how long... Thank you everyone involved in the making and distributing of this. Much love x

I heard others gurus in KZitem before but the first time i listened to U.G Krishnamurti in KZitem, he got my attention because he never claimed or wanted to be a guru. U.G played with the mind when he asked, why do you want to become something when you already are what you are?

It's great to hear these guys who knew UG for quite a while share their overall impression and impact (which everyone else who encountered him seems to echo) I myself appreciate UG because his anti message has no Journey to it while all of the other spiritual types leave you stranded. Cheers

I recognize this fellow from a couple older UG interviews posted on this channel. I remember him saying that his kids didn't want to go to school, so he didn't force them to go. I'm a fan of that sentiment, I wonder what his children are up to today.

J Krishnamurti said in a interview monkey body has goes through its destiny.But that pure consciousness does not attach with it.His body may have those conditionings but the truth within was not bothered or touched with it.Gnyanis live as neither the body nor the mind.

I find it slightly ironic that JKs chief messages for 60 years in his stated aim of trying to help people realise their true nature were “Don’t follow Gurus” and “Truth is a pathless land” I.e. there is no method and then Louie’s reason for finishing with him were essentially that he didn’t show him the way to enlightenment and his moral character didn’t match up to his message.
@delq
2 жыл бұрын
if truth is indeed a pathless land, no hope should be given to a person who intends to "traverse" that land. Yet JK gave lectures and shared words that had the purpose of getting across something. what could it be ? other than his own version of enlightenment. What role does phrases like "effortless action" and "true compassion in the absence of self" serve other than that of pointers/paths to what he referred to as enlightenment ?
@SweetJennyFan

@@delq I think JK was saying essentially “Be quiet” “Be aware” “ Watch your ownThinking” “ Don’t judge” and “ See what happens”

What Louis doesn't mention is that the reason UG ended up homeless in London was because he and his wife had divorced and UG had spent the last of his money paying alimony, as well as bills for cancer treatments for his son in the US. UG had a tumultuous marriage, and he used to beat his wife, hence the divorce.

*So then* , the only interesting ting me came across in that talk was : ooG giving "encounter therapy" to Brawley. A sophisticated method undoubtedly. In Brawley's case me bold enough to say it didn't punch through. Me got reminded of ooG sayin : "An angry man would never sit down with u and discuss his anger." Precisely this, ooG was trying to bring across, if you ask me , which u didn't. Brawley still discusses ,me say to provoke u a little bit 😇°°°

@@beejumittahb8527 neither is there sincerity nor ever insights anywhere, its all about self-centeredness and copy and paste for ones own benefits. Sorry if I sound rude. Many quotes come to interpreting structure here, done by ooG "I have to go first if you want to know anything about..." "Mind is never open , if there is such thing at all." "The brain is a reactor only..." All this useless analytics about this, that and the other are of no help at all for a decent living. Others are the ones constantly telling you what you are and what they want from you. So these are the least to be called a cOOLio point of reference. Conformity doesn't equal validity. ooG's mundane living as u said , is based on a rare commodity : No worry about cash. So best we do is: live this useless life and then go merrily and gracefully. I just wonder. Do you guys feel it's wrong to make a living by doing what u love ? Like if u see krishnamurti or rupert spira and so on. We all need to make money to survive . So I don't understand why making money from your talks should matter? Or else they would have needed to do some boring jobs just to get by . Isn't it natural to extend help to people who ask or wants ? Needs ? I you see your child is hungry you feed it. If u see ur friend needs a hand you help him. This energy or intelligence works automatically by being in service to others. We all have felt this work through us. There is no thought , there is just action in flow with life and u are just extension of the whole. We can all see flaws in every teacher. Even jiddu and UG .we still have to operate through the limitations of our senses and bodies. Isn't it the beauty? The intelligence or the whole.call it what you want can never experience anything. So in a way by limiting us and everything there can be constrast and experience. Poetry and love.. all these are still ideas in the mind of the one. So why is one attacking others ? Isn't it lack of understanding if you by name keep attacking people and why ? See...? Everyone has limitation. And that is what is beautiful. 😍❤️

Oh boy angry Catholics are like moths to the flame with UG. They will make a deity out of him and forget that UG was a trickster who loved entertaining himself with these seekers. He was completely enabled and financially supported by special wealthy friends and family. UG was a master manipulator and great observer of humans and it seems like he used the bald man. The bald man recognized over time that in rubbing elbows with UG that he could make a name and new career for himself. UG is amazing in his own right as a survivor of so much earlier loss and dislocation and the bald guy seems in denial of his own life or past in regards to how “boring” he found himself. He’s a bit macho and he’s not going to touch much on his own humanity or that of UG. As UG says most human behavior is motivated by pleasure or entertainment. This bald guy was entertained out of his boredom and Got a book out of the deal. It seems UG got mileage out of using for personal services and humiliating the bald guy. It’s like watching two narcissists go round and round. Not sure what was learned here as the bald guy still seems like an angry guy looking for absolutes…for idols…father issues? Ironically, some of UG’s greatest pleasures were TV, cashmere sweaters, chocolates and cream…and going to shopping malls. I think UG was the Valley girl of anti-gurus.

Omg I just saw an interview with bald guy Brawley from 8 years ago. He seems like a different person then…humble soft spoken and likable. What a cool hat and designer glasses can do for this guy now…like he says he’s a complete asshole. He’s not lyin’…I had to back and forth between these interviews to see the amazing change in this guy from genuine seeker to a monster. Clearly there is no Enlightenment…the man for all his work is proof that our ability to play a role is endless and that given a bit of power, money and fame most just become another poser. Sad.
