I wanted to use the song, "Definitely, Maybe" by Anja Kotar as the inspiration for a "Draw This in Your Style Challenge" with a picture from the Louvre with my character, Peppermint! One of the lines in the song is "And your face, it's a painting in the Louvre, baby" which inspired me to look in my art book, "Paintings in the Louvre" to find something I felt went with the upbeat feel of the song. One of my patrons chose the character and I wasn't sure at first if Peppermint would work since there is another line about "all of the main character vibes" and she is the most NPC character I have. Haha! When I saw the picture of the lady playing the lute in The Concert by Gerrit Van Honthorst I knew that was it though. I also wanted a limited color palette so I suppose this is a two color challenge as well, with brown and canary yellow.

If you draw this picture with your own character, please share it below. I'd love to see it!
