The lead singer was married to Eve Graham from the new seekers. He was in the band for a short time too. He sadly passed away un 2016.

This was always one of my favourites but didnt do very well. The lead male singer passed away a couple of years ago and the male singer with moustache is jay aston of bucks fizz brother

Written by Stephanie de Sykes who was born with a smile on her face. Sadly this didn't win but it still is a very catchy tune and today most would call it a guilty pleasure.

The Milk Monitor. A torrid story of how one convenience store worker controlled the calcium intake of an entire community. Must have been a f*** off big convenience store if there was a role “in charge of milk”. My local Co-op has three or four people working most of the time. Not sure any of them are “in charge of milk”. Do you list that role on LinkedIn?

Must admit can’t remember this but then again it was about the time I started to lose interest in Eurovision but they were at least still trying to produce catchy numbers and had not quite tipped into the ridiculous as subsequently happened.

Para nada, ojalá hubieran presentado algo parecido a ''Grease'' por esos años. Es más, tuvieron de representante a la propia Olivia Newton John (eso sí, años antes de que hiciese la película) y le pusieron una canción bastante ñoña; no fea, pero ñoña.

Is it just me, or are the only mics switched on Danny Finn's (lead) and the two sisters? I can't hear any other male backing, and the female "lead"'s is definitely not on. The BBC around this time did bend the rules and put extra backings backstage (both '83 and particularly '84 where the two onstage backings basically did nothing).
