@The Church of Repentance What do you mean, "Why"? We are born into this world wretched sinners. Without obedience to and the accepting of Christ, then we will find no everlasting solution to that sin. We are separated from God due to our sin. Sin goes beyond the simple knowledge of right and wrong. We all fall short, day in and day out. Which is why we are called to repent continually.

Beautiful video father spyridion. I needed this. Ive been far from God recently and I haven't been allowed to go to an Orthodox Church for almost a month, and what you said about how when we fail to have love, we turn away from God. You were the one who helped me in my doubts last month, when confronted by my old protestant pastor about my belief in Orthodoxy. Fear of him viewing me as less among the people part of (or formerly part of) his congregation made me not tell him why I was a believer of Orthodoxy. This subconsciously made me doubtful, since I couldn't explain such a simple thing to someone I had known since I was a child in the Lutheran Church. Thank you, Fr. Spyridion, for helping me realize my faults and doubts right now are at my own expense, and for inspiring me to do better by the power and grace of God. May the Holy Trinity bless you, for all the work you have done in helping us get back on track in our Orthodox lives.

Australians, Canadians, the French and all other peoples and nations are under spiritual and physical attack by demonic powers. It makes me want to lash out in anger and hatred to those who are perpetrating this or to those who let this irrational fear control them, only to realize that it will only make everything worse. I’m just too stubborn and pride to let myself be bullied around for much longer. I beg the Lord to guide and protect me from myself, a sinner. I was baptized in Roman Catholic church and I was quite far from it, but few years ago God brought me back, thankfully 🙏. My life has changed so much since then, but recently I started thinking about converting into orthodoxy. My father was an orthodox Christian (he is gone now) and we used to go to orthodox liturgies sometimes. I am feeling lost at the moment, I truly love Catholic church and I think it's beautiful and it gave me so much... but I do have thoughts to become an orthodox Christian. I've read books and works about orthodoxy, I've been going ti liturgies. However, I feel like I need some time to think about it and make a decision. I've talked to an orthodox priest about it and he said I will need to receive a confirmation into orthodoxy since I was already baptized into Catholic church and there can be only one baptism. I haven't received my confirmation into a Roman Catholic church either yet, and I feel like this is where I need to make further decision, but I feel lost, to be honest... I'm trying to read more about the matter of orthodoxy and schism but I'm afraid that my level of education is definitely not enough to "professionally investigate" this matter. I kindly ask for your prayers or kind encouraging words, if you can 🙏 And I kindly request not to bash the Catholic church, as I said, it really helped me in so many ways and I truly love it (the people are not perfect anywhere, though). Maybe if someone had a similar experience, they could share it with me, I would be very grateful 🤍

Some Orthodox Churches baptize ex Catholics again, some recognize Catholics lost their grace some don't (I can't say how they wouldn't see it as they proclaim Pope as basically word of God and he says he is God himself (in one of Vatican councils pope proclaimed himself basically to br god... Not kidding... For you to be Catholic you must be following Pope's teachings, which are not Christian these days.. So if you're part of that religion I do think baptizing again is correct way) If you're in USA I do suggest checking few of different Orthodox Churches, I've heard Greek, OCA and Constantinoplean Churches are corrupted (the head hierarchy is, so check out Churches, well corruption is visible in following the ways of the world not of Christ, from accepting Freemasonry as perfectly fine to being Gay is a good thing, Greek Church has a rulebook in which they are obligated to restrain from winning the converts... Basically going against Christ's one of the commandments. But as you know Orthodox Church isn't a hierarch like in papism or whole hierarchs, Church is each member of it and all the members, so it can't be corrupted - members can be not the Church itself (Church is dual nature like Christ himself - human and divine), just like what happened during Arians.. Only 1 Bishop held the true belief out of whole Church, the rest were corrupted in a degree or two, and knowing that you realize that the same situation is happening today, and probably always was the case, path to Christ is narrow and difficult and we imagine because somebody proclaims their faith they must be the correct ones, probably few parishes out of whole Christendom today are real Christians(at least comparatively to what we usually think) and we should seek to be like them) Sorry for sharing the story, could be interesting I recommend watching Jay Dyer, he's a crazy whacko a bit arrogant but he's educated in the field like crazy, both in philosophy (logic primarily I'd say) and in theology Watch his debates I think it's good for a starter (But please avoiding "reviews" of him by some Catholic guys, they really went after him over years, trying to kill his persona, tried everything to deplatform him from various platforms and ventures, really crazy, lying what he does and who he is, what he speaks, the fat guys especially, really crazy people... Why do everything to assassinate someone's persona just because you can't win a single debate against him) Difference between Orthodoxy and Catholicism isn't primarily about Papism, whole theology is the issue (60% is the same from my look, the rest Catholics either don't get or deny) And I cannot look at the Catholic hierarchy (and the Church entirely because in their dogma the Hierarchy(Pope) is the Church) on equivalent par like I used to until years ago when I out of interest googled what was Catholic stance on Ecumenical councils, since it was council of many Churches, and interested me how would Catholic Church will say on non-papist way of the Church before 11th century, and they say Pope called the councils... Not only he did not call the councils, emperors did... But also Pope was not present in many. He wasn't even called in 1 council as I recall. It's literally founded on lies. And sorry, when a Church lies it can not be Christian It's opposed of what a Christian should be, let alone whole Church... Imagine, leading whole billion person herd using a lie...

You can not be afraid of converting into Orthodox from your native Cathlic, because Orthodox is not recognise any heresies in Cathlic, Schism is only about jurisdiction, not faith, so if you feel vocation from God to be Orthodox - there is no problem with your Cathlic church. Heresies are only in protestantism, in Orthodox and Catholic confessions there are not.

Many thanks for your work. May God bless your work. Sent to David Wilkerson 20 years ago. Warning to the nation a message for the churches/ For the USA. 1968. "Now is the time to put your relationship with Me right. Now is the time to put Me first in all areas of your life, If you do not, you will not survive the coming storms. Now is the time to soak you heart, mind, and spirit in My living word the bible.. If you do not, you will not understand, what is happening and what will happen as chaos and darkness descend on the nations. Now is the time to put your relationships with others right. There is coming a time of harvest and a time of many falling away. There is coming a time of division and a time of gathering together. A time of making and a time of breaking. A time of wounding and a time of healing. I will sift the wheat from the chaff within bn My church. Out of the coming whirlwind of tribulation and persecution will come a holy and repentant church? Out of broken hearts will come joy. Out of tears, will come rivers of living waters. I will be exalted over the nations. I will be exalted over the earth. I am exalted above the heaven’s I AM exalted over the universe" Based on David Wilkerson's book. "America is receiving her last trumpet call." Sermon from Limerick Church What a wonderful sermon: Keith a real passion for God. All the churhes we have tried to warn will not listen they sleep the sleep of death..We are now in the Great Delusion...God is trying to wake belivers up if they do not listen they willbe sucked into this darkness and there will no way out. Mahtew 24/ 10-14...May God have mercey on us all. We are now in the final stages of human history. What is now going will transition into the Great Trib.. Why most people do not see what is going is beucase it is .Multi dimensional/multi-layered and multi facetted the odd things is many non believers see it more lclearly than most churhes. many of us need a fresh vision of God who He is and what HE is. The Holy Spirit will do this to all who are open and obedient. A Vision About The Coming Darkness...... The following vision was received on 14.1.99. There was a great explosion of light within the heavens, like the birth of a new star. Below the explosion, was planet earth against the backdrop of space. It appeared the the ball of light hit the North pole. There appeared be a large hill on the ground..The hill as very dark with lot of precut channels. These channels were radiating out in all directions round the whole around planet earth In all the channels were small seeds as if a harvest had been pre -planted Suddenly, after the explosion, there was a mighty rush of water from the top of the hill which then poured down through all the channels. Then, the seeds began to sprout forth like a harvest waiting to be gathered. This is what the vision means: The 'water of life' was a poisonous water of spiritual death which was deceiving all those who dwell on the earth and which will pollute their hearts, minds and spirits. The darkness within the scene signifies the present and future evil darkness, which will engulf the world. The explosion of light signifies the coming explosion and intensification of occult/demonic powers that will cover and take over the whole earth. The light, seen within the vision, was a cold light with no warmth. It was a false light. Satan was the source of the light. "An Angel of Light". The fact that the channels were pre-cut suggests that the seeds of spiritual deception that are now being planted throughout the world, and only waiting for the right time to spout forth. The rush of water signifies the coming torrent or tidal wave of spiritual deception, which will engulf the nations and the entire world system. The events depicted within the vision were all seen to happen very suddenly and very quickly. Everything is now being prepared by the powers of darkness for the arrival of the Antichrist and his world 666 kingdom! __________________________________ Please note: "New Agers believe the world is on a 2000-year cycle linked with the signs of the zodiac and that the 2000 year will signal the beginning of the new age of Aquarius, the water carrier. The New Age, symbolized by the water of life, will be an age of renewed spirituality which will bring about a basic change in the way humankind thinks and acts due to its new spiritual relationship with the cosmos." - __________________________________ The first part of this vision has now come to pass: A great darkness has come upon the whole earth……a Satanic Darkness…..through the medium C-19 scamdemic A world government has now been set up. UN Agenda 2021/2030 There is a Satanic Chapel/Alter under UN Building. The final stage will be from the Book of: Revelation when Satan is caste down to earth

There's really no point in confessing other people's sins on social media platforms. That's cheap gossip in earthly law much less God's law. We all struggle with our enemies because we are human beings, not Saints.

@@cincin4515 Then good people do nothing. You cannot be silent of someone's sins. That is sin itself. That is why I had to question the do not criticize other people. Now you understand how globalism got into the churches. How? By doing nothing and not saying anything. At least an Australian Orthodox Priest is saying something! Ignorance is destroying us!

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out- Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out- Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out- Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me-and there was no one left to speak for me.

We will have to go through the toll-houses. All 20. Second last is heresy. The final one is mercy.

Every human being is fundamentally love, is essentially love. The religion of the wise is love. The temple of the wise is life. The wisdom of the wise is within.

@Right Hand My words are truth. You simply fail to see truth. As long as you dualize and demonize and point the self-righteous finger, and as long as you fail to understand your contributory role in the energetic dynamic that you are experiencing, you will not create peace for yourself because you do not have peace within yourself. What each person sows, he shall reap. Mind your tally in life, and not the tally of others.

Ezekiel 33: 6But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

Thank you for this, Fr. Spyridon! This seems related to something I've wanted to ask:. Recently the reading was from Luke 6 about trying to pull out the mote in your brother's eye while not perceiving the beam that is in your own. How can we go about actively perceiving any "beam in our own eye" so that we can deal with those?

@Herman of Alaska What version do you have? When I came to Christ, God said the Bibles have been manipulated. We are looking into books but not to God! I have never seen so much confusion when reading the Revelation for example. If people are confused then that is how you know the devil was involved.

I have members of my family who are toxic to me. Theyve slandered me, & continue to do so from afar. I understand that i can forgive them, and not carry a grudge, but can i truly forgive in the eyes of Christ, whilst not wanting to remain in contact with them?

Fr. Savvas the Athonite does touch on that subject (the video is on youtube/link below) and in it he says that we have a duty to stay away from those that harm us rather than continue relations with a person who will continually put us in temptation to remember past wrongs. So the answer to your question would be that yes you can forgive while not wanting to remain in contact with them. kzitem.info/news/bejne/opmX3q6Ob4CcbII
