Nick comes across as having a vendetta against Justin...such a weird take imo. Nick calls out the internet for taking certain liberties regarding their opinion of Blake, when Nick is doing the same thing regarding his opinion of Justin. It's giving hypocritical. Sounds like Justin triggers something in Nick and so Nick is taking a side, just like what most of the internet is doing with Blake... Which is fine, but don't act like you're above it, Nick, cause you're doing what much of the internet is doing (i.e. having strong feelings against a celeb based on your own lens). You also completely glossed over what many people are actually roasting her for and missed a big part of the point, which is her utter disregard for DV victims in her PR and talking points around this film. She even used this film about domestic violence as an opportunity to promote her alcohol line on multiple occasions...so inappropriate when you consider alcohol is present in most DV cases. The subject matter of the film is serious and needed to be treated with care. Imagine the impact had Blake memorized one DV hotline number and plugged that in her interviews. I'm not on the cancel Blake bandwagon, which is also obnoxious and problematic. But it seems Nick might be rooting for the takedown of Justin... I find Nick's take on Justin to come off as smug and missing the point and isn't the hot take he thinks it is. I actually watched this video for the Love Island scoop and never comment on shit, but Nick's take and tone on Justin was so strange to me here.

I couldn’t help to think that he was being hypocritical in defending Blake while it’s obvious that he’s not a fan of Justin. He points out that people’s dislike towards Blake is because she reminds them of someone from high school. Look I don’t take any sides in this issue, we don’t know what happened and to say that it’s the PR team that Justin hired that’s creating this narrative of Blake is them assuming this. He was questioning Justin’s character indirectly while defending Blake saying that he rather trust someone that’s rude because they’re surface level. Also what a lot of women find hypocritical of Blake is that in this interview she wanted to embarrass the interviewer and create this feminist narrative of how dare she question her about the clothes. I think a lot of women saw though this act. Again I don’t know what has happened but to say you prefer Blakes approach because she is being real and ride but Justin is a phony. in the end we don't need to hate either one.

Nick’s take on Blake’s and Justin’s drama is so out of touch and he clearly doesn’t seem to understand the issues people are taking with the promotion of this movie. It’s about not addressing the DV in the movie. As a member of the book community (who read and related to the book as a DV surviver), it started when Colleen badly marketed this and now Blake is doing the same. Yes we side with Justin who’s the only one addressing it. It’s that simple and it’s annoying to watch Blake promote this with her husband like it’s some fun chick flick. Joking around and Ryan making it about him too. So silly. And Justin has really only talked Blake up so how is he trying to take her down? 🤔

I’m gonna hold your hand when I say this … but this is CRAZY! 1. To compare a PR crisis to the book is INSANITY 2. Y’all are talking about this like you 1000% know this man is responsible for all of this bad PR. I love the household and consider myself a part of the household but please get a grip here

What a cop out. Kaylor asked him repeatedly what happened and he told lies and said "I don't remember". He wanted his cake and to eat it too and refused to take accountability for his actions. He literally jumped on Daniela within hours of leaving the villa. He had plenty of opportunities to tell Kaylor the truth and he lied.

i’m happy kaylor spoke up for herself (kinda wish she did it way before and not on a podcast + reunion) and i wasn’t an aaron fan on the show BUT i feel so bad for him now.. especially finding out about the passing of his relative + his energetic/happy auro is completely dimmed. i’m happy he’s back home and spending time w his family. he also shouldn’t have confessed all that to kaylor at the reunion too.. hopefully it is a learning lesson from both sides and they move on or become friends later down the road?

I think people have to understand that as people make mistakes, it is OKAY for them to be emotional, remorseful, and apologetic about their decision(s). I see a lot of comments saying he’s manipulative and doesn’t care…. I don’t get those vibes from him. Anyways sending love to the entire cast ❤
@clwm2dlw

It did seem that way on the show but you can tell he's remorseful and they way he still sticks up for Kaylor and wants the best for her speaks volumes. He just took it at the reunion, as he should. I Kaylor was a little over the top on the reunion but who can blame her after hearing that shit in front of everyone!

it's actually really hard watching nick pretend like he wasnt heavily swaying kaylor when they interviewed her to see the worst in the situation and in aaron. they contributed to the needless piling on someone who is clearly a genuine and kind-hearted person, who made the crucial error of making a mistake on a wildly popular reality TV show. everyone piled onto aaron like they'd never made a mistake in a relationship before, without giving him any grace. you can tell nick is trying to walk back all the criticism he threw at aaron once he was reminded that aaron is an actual person. he's clearly unwell, self-soothing and going through it. i hope he goes home and is taken care of.

But being with Daniela wasn't even the biggest issue. It was how he treated and responded to the situation after seeing how much it hurt Kaylor. He gaslight her, manipulated her, disregarded her. She begged him to be truthful and he wasn't. If he had had a more mature/caring response to her hurt I don't think people would be holding him in such contempt. He's immature and needs to grow and think about other peoples feelings. I don't think he needs to be continuously torn apart by the internet though. Hope he grows from this for his own well being. Also hope he heals.

I think Blake lively is mostly being critiqued because she’s gotten out of touch with the times and the changes of celebrity culture. Girl boss billionaires aren’t inspiring anymore, it’s just problematic. Women aren’t trying to tear her down. Women just feel less and less comfortable and lost trust in women who have pick me characteristics.

He hasn't made the same mistake we all have. We haven't all been on a reality tv gameshow designed for maximum drama and sent into "Casa Amor" to test our 3-week "relationships." The main problem with people's reaction to Aaron is analyzing this situation through the lens of normal life.

Overall, there is a lot of grace being given to a careless nepo baby who is still not shifting her approach to this film… even when so many survivors have come out and asked her to do better… there are two separate issues here. The Justin and Bake thing is separate from Blake’s disregard of content and experiences depicted in this damn movie

Aaron is a good guy and there is no denying it. But when it comes to relationships, in this case, he didn't want to admit to his faults until the very last minute (until the reunion). That's not very good because how can you build trust with someone when they lie constantly. And add to that, that he lives on another continent. So why did America leave Kordell off the hook? Because from day one, he admitted to his faults and knew he was wrong. Sadly, Aaron did not do that, and that's why he is here today. It's a shame because at the beginning they were a great couple.

All I have seen is constructed Criticism of Blake and there PR move was a poor choice, I would never have guessed this movie was about SA by anything she said, but I agree we don’t know the reason there is issues. I will say this people have said more positive stuff about Justin (costar wise) than Blake ever has gotten; non of past co-stars follow Blake and I think it’s obvious from previous cast members talking out she is the definition of a mean girl; so why do we need to be the bigger person? Blake can fly off into the universe never has to work again I guess my sympathies for celebrities if it’s not mental illness or addiction is completely nothing. You can choose to not be in the lime light.
