I would switch out the fridge in a heartbeat. We switched it over in our Lance 1475s. It's so nice to not need to manage the fridge. I wonder if the furnace could be changed over to a Truma Eco Combi and free up the water heater to storage. Still doesn't fix the door window and counter space problems. Thanks for pointing these out these items

Yes there is definitely a lot to think about when purchasing an airstream due to all the options. Length, FB or RB , # of air cond, queen or twin, push button awning, elect jacks, the refrigerator type, type of water heater, on and on.......

Never even thought about that window being blocked by the door! I've never noticed that in any review I've ever seen. That is why i like watching owner reviews and not dealer reviews. I always said if I were going to do two axles I'd go with the 25. I like the 19cb the best for what I do which is short trips for cycling and hiking. I also like one axle except for the small tanks it requires.
@LovingLifeHitchedUp

Yes, owner reviews are better because you get to see the trailer in use. We love the 19CB as well. That was the one we had thought of purchasing a few years ago. Thank you so much for watching.

I guess the nice thing about the heater being on the camp side is that you aren't bothering your neighbors. We had a huge bus parked by us a couple of weeks ago and they had their furnace cranked and it took away all of the quiet ambiance of nature for us. That door/window issue is unfortunate! And you're right that there isn't much counterspace for that size of an RV. We've always had a dream to buy an Airstream someday but we walked through several of them at the Grand Rapids RV Show this past January and realized it isn't going to be a good fit for us unless we're able to buy a pretty long one someday. They just aren't big enough for Dennis with him being 6'3". They are so incredibly cute, though!!! GAH!!! Can't wait to see what change you're making!
@LovingLifeHitchedUp

They are beautiful and when your in the "BIG ones" with couch, dinette, etc.. its like a full blown condo. 6'3" could be a challenge for head clearance. Reveal coming soon, we are excited to share. Thank you for the support. TJ & Red

For5 years we fought with that G*d Damned Relax automatic awning, which was anything but relaxing. It truly was the work of the devil, and one of the things that drove us away from Airstream….that, and the Rats Nest of electrical wiring.

I'm sorry to hear you had so many issues with your awning. My husband had to work in the "Rats Nest" when he was changing our batteries and adding solar. Not an easy task.

They're heavy, no slides and 3x's the cost. We use the Grand Design Imagine 32', with slides, 12v fridge, lithium 200ah battery, solar and on-demand hot water for a third the cost. Airstreams are beautiful rollin down the hwy to look at, that's about it for us.
