Love love this! I really enjoy listening to other peoples interpretations of this song, every one is different. It’s the first song I want to learn on an acoustic guitar.

@@blackbankjohn The song has been a staple of my growing up. I remember an obscure version by Paul Young, 1983. Horrible cover, but I listened to it on a rollerblade course, with my first girlfriend. Rollerblades were a thing, back then. Years later, I discussed the line, "Is my timing that flawed" with my wife, on the way to a Jay-Z concert. Your cover really touched me. I don't know why the algorithm suggested it to me, but sometimes AI makes really good choices. ;)

I have. It doesn’t do Ian Curtis justice. Ian was a one-in-a kind artist. My comment on Transmission,” “Ian Curtis isn”t trying to dance, dance is trying to Ian Curtis” was well liked. Not to brag, but ppl need to understand what a towering influence he was for our generation that’s now growing old.

I also think that artists such as you need way more recognition. But the market is crowded. I’m all the more impressed that you’re putting this on KZitem. You certainly got my attn, and I wish you all the best going forward.

You didn't murder it, but it also wasn't good. Ian Curtis is a very tall order. He had a very distinctive, desperate voice that hardly anyone can mimic right. When you sing, you sound like you're singing a Travis song. It doesn't work. The guitar also doesn't work, it's too happy. Joy Division were one of the most miserable bands and "lightening up" the sound is an affront.
