Its true - loving myself is the best thing that can happen to me - but it´s not quite that easy - you must trust yourself more and more each day - even if shit happens - it happens to everybody, right.

Makes sense I always liked being alone but society always made me feel so backwards. Now I see I’m just living authentic for myself. Thanks

COVID has given me the opportunity to be by myself and to get to know myself. I have become so happy. I will be spending Christmas alone for the first time in my life but I don’t mind. I will still have a happy nice day. It has been such a revelation to feel so joyous and to have such fun completely by myself. I never even knew it was possible!

Bravo!! This is so true. I have spent a lot of time alone in the last four years, and it has made me a better person, much more insightful about myself and others. It is the way to go when trying to become more spiritual, compassionate, and loving. If I was still running away from be alone, it is so clear to me that I would still be kind of lost in the external world always trying to measure up to other's expectations and keeping up with the speed of this world. I now know that I am a wise person and have worked at this for years, I'm 63...I wasn't really giving myself any credit for much of my younger growing years, and incapable of knowing that BOTH sadness and joy are a part of living, it's good to feel the pain of loss, fear, and separateness, and explore and welcome these challenges. I found out recognizing my so called short comings, was a lot more comforting than distracting myself. Because I have the compassion to be there for myself more now, I can now be there for others more. I can finally see now, that I am a worthy and kind person who is trying to spread love and consistently noticing how what I say and do, measures up to my own standards, which is a good measure. Of course, I had to make boundaries for others in my life too, which has given me more clarity about other's respecting me, and not me always trying to be perfect for everyone around me, an impossible standard. I want the best for every living thing on this planet. One treasure my aloneness time taught me is that I respect and honor all living creatures, and that reverence of life is so fulfilling for humans to have the privilege of helping animals, plants, humans, our beautiful planet with so much aliveness, we are all very blessed, but you need to feel and know that down deep, and that is a journey. We need to let the sadness touch us in full, as well as joy touching us, it takes both to keep everything at a better balance. Thank you "Awaken Insight" for your sensitivity and wisdom, for helping us make a more sane and courageous world. ❤☮☯🕉🌟💟❤☮☯🕉🌟💟❤

Thank you, Lynn. That was a lovely comment. And I could relate to it. Yes, as we get older and are alone, it is definitely confronting for some people, but also a great time to heal and reflection. Please take care. Hugs from a Stranger🙏🏻🤍
