LOVEBITES - A Frozen Serenade lyrics & credits: Crystal tears Falling from the skies Veiling fears The emptiness inside Time is just passing by Killing me under the soft twilight A frozen melody Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy A distant memory If only this snow could erase the pain I'd wake up in a serenade One life ends And one life begins Evanesce To our origins When I'm lost on my way Lead my heart and guide me with your grace A frozen melody Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy A distant memory If only this snow could erase the pain I'd wake up in a serenade Just like a dream, just like a bird I'll keep on singing out Even if my voice cannot reach you Seasons may pass, but its beauty will never fade away All living things are precious and irreplaceable Just like a dream, just like a bird I'll keep on singing out Even if my voice cannot reach you White butterflies are fluttering under the silver sky If only I could wish to see you once more ----- lyrics: asami music: asami & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) & Mao album: Electric Pentagram 01/29/2020 ------

Welcome back to Lovebites ! This song is an epic masterpiece. BTW, "Heavy Metal Never Dies" is the name of the band's LIVE album released back in 2021. The LIVE LP is derived from a concert in Tokyo which this LIVE performance of "A Frozen Serenade" is part of.

"She plays the piano!" That's such an understatement. 🤣 and "She's like a swan", they have another masterpiece called "Swan Song" Check it out. Look for the version with the Chopin intro. You will see that Miyako does more than just plays the piano. 😉

This recording is from 2021 and the concert was performed under strict Covid regulations. The audience was limited to 50% capacity with mandatory masks and no shouting or cheering, only applause. Miyako, the guitarist/pianist with black hair was several months pregnant at the time, her only concession for a concert that was nearly 2 hours long was to wear flat shoes rather than her usual high heels. Miyako is a classically trained pianist from 3 years of age, only learning guitar in her late teens (self taught from a book !) She composes much of Lovebites music often incorporating classical music themes such as in Swan Song which uses elements from compositions by Chopin and Dvořák. All members of the band, including Fami, the new bassist from late 2022, can play piano/keyboards. The musical ability of this band is second to none. 🐺

They are all immensly talented, but Miyako (Piano/guitar) is other-worldly. She was also 4-5 mos pregnant in this MV.

Nice Reaction. Yes, *Miyako* can indeed play the piano . . better than she plays the guitar. And *Asami* took Ballet for 16 years, and went to the US to study hip-hop and jazz dance. To see what I call 'Miyako's Song' (she wrote it) check out *_Swan Song_* [+Chopin Intro] kzitem.info/news/bejne/uHie2qWdoop2dGk

No one transitions LIVE better than these musicians. An epic masterpiece and it requires insane talent from each band member to carry this off especially LIVE. There are few bands that can compare to the insane talent in this group and each and every song is just awesome and no one flows from one influence to another within the same song as these women. Always a surprise and never a disappointment....the Wolfpack (fanbase) motto!!!!!!

Miyako is currently the band's main composer, but all of them have the ability to compose music. And with the help of MAO, who has supported them since the formation of Love Bytes, there are several metal ballads composed by vocalist Asami that can truly be called masterpieces. One of them is this “A FROZEN SERENADE” and another is “Epilogue”.

Thanks for getting to this. The word “masterpiece” gets thrown around a lot. But how many true masterpieces are there in the history of rock? A dozen? Maybe 20? Not much more than that. (I would name “A Day in the Life” by the Beatles; “The End” by the Doors; “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen; “Kashmir” by Led Zeppelin; “Layla” by Derek and the Dominoes; “The Great Gig in the Sky” by Pink Floyd; “Starless” by King Crimson; “Ghost Love Score” by Nightwish… and maybe a few more.) Few rock groups have ever produced even one masterpiece; most never managed it. In their short existence, Lovebites have already given us three or four, and I would put this performance at the top of the list.

Just one of the Metal Queens 👑 masterpiece songs. Asami studied ballet for many years when she was young so dancing while snow falls was perfect for her. Since you mentioned Swan, recommend Swan Song with Chopin Intro Five of a Kind 21/02/2020
