He could’ve just gone home but she was standing there, isolated from everyone else, and the thrill of the hunt dared him to try it one last time. Just to see if he still had it. The problem is time had already passed. Children grew up hearing about the dangers of trusting people you don’t know. This girl had heard of the Susie Salmons in the world. She sees right through Harvey. It’s a different generation and Harvey’s methods are far outdated. The youth don’t care to gain respect or please previous generations. She’s blunt with him and he can’t wrap his head around that telling her to be polite just doesn’t work anymore. Harvey did go home. Straight to hell where he belonged.

We always compare ourselves to people we deem as horrible, which he is, I'm not saying he isn't. But when you compare yourself to Gods law (the 10 commandments) you'll find you're just as guilty as this man is. We are all wicked filthy sinful people. And you know what God did for us wicked sinful people? He sent his only begotten Son Jesus, to pay the price for it all, so that whosoever believes on him would not perish but have everlasting life. We didn't deserve it, and yet because of Gods love for us he has given all people a chance of salvation, and I say chance, because you still have to submit to that truth. What do you do to be saved? First of all repent of all your sins in godly and true sorrow, and as the Bible says: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:9-13 KJV Once you are saved God will renew your heart, giving you new desires, not of sin, but of righteousness. But be quick! In the same way that this character in the movie did not know when he was going to die, you don't either. Only God knows, so don't harden your heart when you hear these words, repent now! And be saved!

Now I'm officially traumatized......now whenever I'll see sweet MAESTRO CADENZA, now I'll think of this.....Mr. Harvey totally got what he deserved, though.

When you murder someone and discard their body like they were trash and not a human you took the life of then this is how you deserve to die alone with no one to mourn you

Makes you realise how good of an actor this guy is. You actually dispise him and at points forget hes acting and actually begin to hate him. Great acting. As a father to a little girl i cant bring myself to watch this film itd crush me to think of it happening to my baby girl

I thought I remembered him falling on his skull, in like a headfirst position upside down and seeing the top of his head hit the rock.

Whilst I’m happy he died this death always struck me as too cheap. I mean seriously? An icicle? I think maybe a better ending would have been him trying to grab the girl and her shoving him away, leading to her falling.

I like the ending BlackKnight. Because the ending was so odd you knew that it was his previous victims spirits getting justice.... Karma....

His death wasn’t satisfying to me. Should have been slower , like the guy in Law Abiding Citizen. G. Butler should have been the dad in the movie lol good film

Both movies came out in the same year. I would like to see Mr Harvey get lured in and tortured by Shelton or someone in general tbh.

This is the best part of the movie, the book was based on the author's real-life violent ambush attack done to her when she was eighteen years old back in 1981 while attending college, she did complete her post-secondary education becoming a university graduate, she did see him again and he was dealt with however she wrote the book which this movie was based on the way she wished that bastard got punished.
