Thanks for getting this back on KZitem. Christine Tudor is superb - one of the best soap performances. And this is also Amelia Heinle's best soap work. I have so many of these scenes memorized in my head. Looking back this probably should have been the full episode with no other scenes thrown in from other stories.

This episode was so fucking hard to watch. I didn't start watching Loving until a few years before it ended but I watched long enough to care about the characters on this show and saw them picked off one by one by one. Even now I am angry about how this show was canceled but this storyline was amazing and this plot twist took me by surprise despite having spent the 10 years before that watching other soaps with my grandmother. Now that I think about it the murders of beloved characters on Loving sort of mirror the death of soap operas as a genre. Loving, Generations, Port Charles, Passion, Sunset Beach and barely a decade later we saw AMC and One Life to Live and As the World Turns and Guiding Light end up canceled too. As I mentioned I grew up watching many of hhese shows with my grandmother but had no idea my mother had watched them too. I didn't really talk to my mom about soaps until the whole Carly Manning buried alive storyline on Days of Our Loves got me so interested that I ended up talking to my mom about it and found out she used to watch soaps as well. She started asking about her favorite characters that she had watched decades before who were still on the show and how their kids were doing and ended up watching Days of Our Lives with me for a few months It was mindblowing to me that the characters I had come to love my mom had loved too which is the heart of why I love soaps. Even as a 15 year old I was able to understand and be awed by the fact that stories told decades ago linked 3 generations of my family. Sorry for rambling.

😮 I watched Loving from the beginning to the end, even after it morphed into the City. The Cornith murders was genius. Yet , they copped out in making Gwen the murderess. I used the soaps history for the murders .....l do still miss Cornith, Pennsylvania. As well as, Pine Valley, Llanview. At least we still have Port Charles New York. 🎉 Daytime memories in coastal Mississippi 🐻👋
