Came back to watch this one again. When this first posted I was impressed with the overall look and beard fade. As a result I decided to make a change to my own style. At age 61 my hair has thinned a lot so I went with a side swept crewcut with a temple fade that also blends into a beard fade. Not as tight a fade as Ricky did here (kept a 2 on the sides with a 1 for the temple fade) and the top is shorter but it works and it makes me look a little younger. So thanks for the inspiration.

Go to Wahl's website and compare professional clippers versus consumer clippers, and they seem the same for the most part. The kits are sometimes more expensive because they contain more nonsense. I don't know if there is a thing as a professional foil over a consumer one because anyone can buy a professional one, and the price might not be any different.

Flick your wrist up (like making a C motion) with the foil so you don't get a hard line. No need to blend in between the foil and 0 that way.
