Hi Geoff, Thank you for your question. Yes, we do have patients using it for CRPS. You can find more information at ldnresearchtrust.org/

This was okay, but, I wish the dialogue had stuck to the topic. I don’t feel as though I know more about LDN use in chronic illness than before the podcast. In fact, I’m left with many questions.

Can LDN bring dormant viruses to the surface and is this a good thing. Due to my severe issues and stopping ldn due to side effects and dangeously high HR and vasovagal syncope episodes it seems they think my immune system has gone haywire and have a virus of some kind. However my body is weak so it has caused too much stress hence the HR in distress low BP and passing out. Ive been off ldn over a week and still stuck in this and been in and out of hospital and GPs. How do we know if this is a good thing and if i shoukd have risked it and kept going or if this has reset my immune system in a bad way and caused issues instead of helping them

I have leaky gut and hashimotos. My doctor recommended trying this, but I've held off to try immunoglobulins first. Would it make sense to do them both at the same time?

May I ask if I have taken just 3 doses of 2.5mg (total 7.5mg) of rapid acting oral morphine (never taken morphine before prior), do I still need a 5-7 days washout period before I start with 1.5mg of low dose naltrexone? Thank you for your time.

Hi Katie. Here's the link to the information about the LDN app that Linda mentions in the podcast, but I'm not sure if it is still available for iPhones. ldnresearchtrust.org/sites/default/files/inline-files/Linda-Elsegood-LDN-Health-Tracker-App.pdf

How I download the LDN app? I can’t find it in the Apple App Store & someone else in the LDN FB ground with me said it’s not in the Android store either. She also checked the mobile site & didn’t see it so where can we find it? TIA

Hi Sheila, LDN Research Trust was creating the app we spoke about in this video. I would recommend reaching out to them to ask about it. Ldnresearchtrust.org/contact_us

I can only buy 50mg tablets from overseas. In Australia I can't find a physician to prescribe LDN, would have a better chance if I were an addict :)) So I dissolve one 50mg tablet in 50mls of water, shake well and and draw up 2mls in a syringe to take by mouth each day. Do you think it's OK to do this? Many thanks for a great program

Hi Patsy, Thank you for tuning into our program. I have heard of patients making their own liquid version because of availability issues. Unfortunately, I am not aware of any stability studies that tell you how long you can keep a liquid once made. In the US, if we were to make the liquid with water we would only be able to give it a 14 day expiration date if the liquid were stored in the refrigerator. I hope that helps a bit.

I am having a terrible time on very low dose naltroxen lowering my BP. I have collapsed few times this week and shaky and very severe headaches. My POTs wasnt this bad until started LDn and Dr concerned how Low BP is with inability to stabilise. Any suggestions on if i should see if this settles or have to stop ldn. I was hoping this would give me better quality of life instead seems to be wrecking havoc on my autonomic dysfunction and BP. Along with body jerks and muscle cramps in feet and toes. I went from 1.5mg capsule to now diluting it into 15mls water and taking .5ml but it still having negative effects on BP and heahaches. Should i go lower again or have to stop.

I would stop. But normally one starts with 1 mg and even less but it sounds like it’s not a good drug for you.

Go to the liquid form. 1 drop equals 0,25 mg. I had the same with 1.5mg. You have to find your “own” dose.

@@TheCompoundingCenter If someone has been on gabapentin for 20 years would it make sense to taper off of gabapentin while getting on LBN? I was under the impression that LDN can help your nerves heal and so using logic the gabapentin wouldn't be necessary.
