LF is good for high inductif load like motor, AC, welding etc HF enaugh for low daily load and heater

I'm particularly interested in ac coupling of microinverters with a LF off grid inverter for purposes of charging batteries when there's excess power. The main issue is with control of the microinverters when the batteries are close to full and there are low load demands on the AC output side. Several big-name brands can frequency shift to modulate or turn off microinverters; some (like some of the sigineer models) allow external triggering of that frequency shift using a BMS or voltage sensing relay. Being able to do it on the cheap is .... really interesting to me, like for an off grid greenhouse.

My issue is with the units I’ve been testing they have grid/generator input and inverter output. Charging can happen on the input side but having a micro inverter on the output side won’t charge the batteries. It would help run loads taking stress off the battery while the sun is out but then so would have more panels on a charge controller. You mention a few methods that I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of. Getting into BMS CAN busses is on my todo list.

That's something you learn after burning some high frequency inverters because of nothing
