In this video we're doing a relatively simple drill to explain the difference between low percentage play and high percentage play.
It's one thing to be good at potting, but as soon as you're not feeling it, if you're not in your A game, you will loose your "consistency"
Losing consistency is not because of bad luck or you're not seeing the angles, it's because you're playing low percentage shots (or difficult shots)
If you pay a bit more attention to your positional play so that you can make high percentage shots (which you can make 8 out of 10 or more), you don't need to rely so much on your mood, sight or feeling, but more on your skill.
- Pot the seven object balls in order in a pocket of your choice
- Pay attention to your positional play
- Try to make high percentage shots only
- you're not allowed to touch any of the other balls on the table
