I use a small brass rod tucked under the top rail of the hadguard, drill a lanyard hole on one end and you can use it to clear barrel obstructions and stuck cases/out of spec rounds. Never hurts to have more than one way to keep your rifle running. Real slick set up brother.

I like it, no one going to question whats in your bag. Im currently using a viktos duffle bag. Its all black, doesnt look out of place. I put in it my 10.3 SBR, Hailey Strategic mini chest rig setup with medical, safariland holster, and battle belt. I can either break down the rifle so its the size of the bag or I can unzip and expand it and keep the rifle intact.

Here's my problem with a bag like that. Anyone buying a bag like that probably has a racket that is $1-2-300. Probably not as easy to sell stolen as DeWalt or Milwaulkee tools but an indicator of something valuable. I do like that is doesn't scream gun dude.

I like your kit and like your content. Why no back up irons? If you have a firearm kit prepped just in case there is a need for serious use, why not have buis on that rifle ? Years ago I had a Vortex Strikefire red dot on an M4gery that a fresh battery died in 2 weeks when i got to the range. I flipped up my rear iron sight and shot anyway. It never happened again with that dot and i figure it was a bad battery. But it made an impression on me that buis are a must.

I've had this gun set up with and without. I've been considering putting them back on but will have to plan it around a range trip. I think I’ve seen it before where a gentleman Responded to an active shooter terminated the threat and was killed by a police officer who arrived on the scene just curious on your thoughts
