Hi Thomas, what is the camera brand and camera size?

Which of the cameras are you refering to? (I use 5). And by size, do you mean resolution?

When practicing (typically), how many shots before letting the barrel cool? And, I have trouble deciphering mirage - any tips??
@THLR
Жыл бұрын
Not really a problem for me as the moving of cameras really slow things down. But shooting suppressed, at around 10 shots heat and mirage becomes a problem for the sight picture. Mirage deciphering? Look at the online shooting class playlist, I have several closeups of the Kahles rangebook with the mirage guide shown. Other than that... Experience + clear optics.

Where can I find the long range Proficiency target? Thanks

I had it made at a local workshop. I see in Poland they simply cut a ø 35cm steel plate and cut a measuring template (just use a 17,5cm or 35 cm stick with markers)

You are not missing out. It makes a loud noise and moves the rifle, just like any caliber.

Nice video. Which rear bag do you use and whats the filling?
@THLR
Жыл бұрын
Homemade. I have one filled with normal pearl beads (plastic) and one ultralight with polystyrene beads. The polystyrene beads compress and is not suitable when I want absolute control over impact.

They also have the STAC series assembled in the Philippines, but with (supposedly) the same glass as the Japanese models. I ask because I have a number of these and the SIII scopes.

99 % of people have no business shooting, when hunting, beyond 200 Yds. no matter how good the equipment is, because they do not put the time in at the range, which btw, requires ALOT of quality time, nor do they have the experience with actual hunting,....say...starting with squirrels to teach them how quickly game can move constantly move. people now-days do not seem to be taught the value of life & food.......it's all just handed to them - ESPECIALLY in the U.S.........rude-awakening on the horizon for the sheep in lions clothing.

I agree. Not everyone has a holistic view on what's behind a safe, killing shot that doesn't ruin the carcass.
